Pesto Omelette - The omelette was pretty…read moregood. The potatoes were perfectly cooked, and the tomatoes were fresh. I was surprised to see that it was so small. I think it was smaller than my hand.
Pan Dulce - They have someone constantly walking around with pan dulce. I got a few pieces while waiting for my order. I'm not sure if it's baked in house or if they have a designated bakery that supplies them, but the pan dulce tasted freshly baked.
Hot Chocolate - The hot chocolate was not too sweet, just the way I like it. Hot chocolate + pan dulce = match made in heaven
SERVICE & AMBIANCE
I ate here before a long day of sight seeing, shopping, and hiking, so I was noticeably underdressed. It wasn't particularly fancy, but perhaps semi formal. The restaurant is above the hotel lobby, and they let us walk around the hotel grounds while waiting for our table. Marco Antonio Solis partnered with Hotsson, so the hotel is named after him (Mansion Solis). The tables at the restaurant are beautifully engraved with lyrics to his songs and there is a car outside the hotel that's painted with Los Bukis. If I remember correctly, they have valet parking. The staff was amicable, attentive, and they kept the establishment spotless. I would come back to try their buffet.
