I cannot wait for them to build more T&Ts in the East Bay. This is the first one we've been to in…read morethe US, and it did not disappoint. Our visit there was similar to other Asian grocery stores, but pretty much in all ways better. In my opinion, the biggest differences are: Made to order food - we had Jian Bing (Crepes) and Sticky Rice Rolls that were both delicious. These could be standalone food stands and I would easily give them 5 stars for the quality and value. Hot food to go - this was self-serve and a large area. Most Asian grocery stores either don't have this or it's not self-serve Ready to eat refrigerated items - savory side dishes, but also dessert items (parfaits, mochi, cakes, pastries) A soup/congee station I think I could wander this store for hours snacking on things and finding products I've never seen before. The footprint of this store is massive, which allows them to carry more SKUs than typical stores. All of the ready to eat or made to order items gives you lots of options to eat at the store or have a quick meal at home with little to no prep. The store is extremely clean, everything is nicely labeled, and check-out is a breeze with a ton of cashiers as well as self-checkout. If you want to completely ruin your expectations for future Chinese grocery stores, visit T&T! Brendan's Rating: 5.0 Charlotte's Rating: 4.5 Shanying's Rating: 4.0 Winston's Rating: 5.0

The garlic green beans are my fav and I highly recommend if you're a garlic lover. The sushi is reliable and affordable. Service is hit or miss. Plenty of seating to eat your food inside or in the mall near that entrance. I still dislike the bathroom situation and feel bad for the employees. I saw an employee fast walk it to the mall bathrooms during my visit. Convenient and affordable lunch option in the Factoria mall area.

After a few bites of food, I tossed the rest because it was so unpleasant. Orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, ribs, what could go wrong? I don't know how it goes wrong, but the food is always gristly, dry and bland. The prices do not match the flavour. Prices are high, flavour is low. In addition, I have never had a staff person say hello or thank you, rarely even an acknowledgement that I am there. During my last visit I asked a gentleman if he knew if they had a particular item and he said "what we have in the store". Oh ok, thanks.

It is located…read morein a former Sprouts store on a corner with a Safeway and Trader Joe's across the street. The Bellevue location is larger and that is evident when I checked the offerings here. There is not as much store space, so there is less selection of everything. I found the aisles to be cramped compared to Bellevue. Even when the Bellevue store is packed, I can meander around the crowds. It felt like a maze at this one on a busy weekend afternoon. There is a 99 Ranch nearby in Edmonds and I do prefer it over this T&T based on selection and price. If you do live close to Lynnwood, I do think it is worth shopping at for the T&T private label products and items that T&T carries that 99 does not. But I am going to stick with shopping at the Bellevue location because it is superior to this one.

I came here to Ben Thanh with a specific mission: finding shrimp paste that I couldn't track down at another oriental market down the street. Thankfully, they had exactly what I was looking for, which immediately earned them some points in my book. It's always a relief when a place carries those harder-to-find items. While browsing the aisles, I was pleasantly surprised to spot a few other things I'd like to come back for in the future, like different varieties of rice and Chinese sausages. One thing that really caught me off guard was that they sold baklava here! I decided to give it a try and, honestly, it tasted pretty good. I didn't do a full grocery haul this time, so I can't really comment on how their prices compare, but for convenience alone it's a great little shop to have nearby. Since I live fairly close in Lacey, I can definitely see myself stopping by again to check out more of their selection. There wasn't really a line; the cashier spoke both English and Vietnamese, was polite, welcoming enough, and quick to ring me up. Overall, a nice little market that came through when I needed it.

Everything was cleanly shelved and the aisles made sense in terms of product layout. Caters very well to southeast Asian cuisines, notably Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai. I quickly grabbed a big jar of kimchi from the cooler, a bag of jasmine rice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, and of course dehydrated shitake mushrooms. This allows you to get started with a bare bones Asian meal of rice with sides. Anyway I was well pleased with the prices. I didn't have to sift through massive choice like at H Mart, and I could get shopping done quick!
