You see, Webster Animal Shelter is not in the county where I need the help. It's in Madison County, and I need help in Hinds County. But the three ladies at Webster didnt mind; they jumped right in, giving me resources on who to call, phone numbers, and names. The ladies directed me to FB pages and told me to call the news station. They even gave me the number of their animal control. You see, I have been trying to help a neglected dog for over a year now. I have tried to work with the animal control in Hinds County, but no such luck; very small minds over there. I must add that Hinds County is riddled with crime. Honestly, no humans or pets should be living in that city. But with the information that the three ladies gave me from Webster Animal Shelter, I'm making progress. I want to say thank you to them. He's still a puppy for sure, but he's a trained puppy that will continue to improve. I have gotten a price from them on several occasions where I then went somewhere else and paid 100 to 150 dollars less for the same procedure. I saved 150 dollars on a dental cleaning they quoted me for. Just recently I saved 100 dollars on a UTI one of my babies had. I love my dogs and I would pay anything to get them better but I'm also not going to let someone rip me off. Im not sure why they're just making up prices over there but they're not competitive. I won't be back. I also let my baby up there for a urinalysis for the UTI and 4 hrs later they still had not been able to get it. I took her somewhere else and it took them 10 minutes and I was on the way home. My dogs act like they're scared to death of them. If you're looking for a good vet try Hometown in Brandon. I switched because I moved and it was closer. Ill just have to drive because the competition is awful!
