My favorite pizza place in Moundsville! Everything on their menu is delicious! I love the calzones and speciality pizzas. The service is great and my food is always made fresh and on time. A really good pizza place. I order from them about once a month or so (I'm not usually a massive pizza guy) and I'm always happy with their food. I love their golden garlic chicken pizza and their pepperoni party pizza especially. Both are well cooked and generously topped. The store is a nice place to eat and the staff is quick and friendly. Today my hubby, daughter and I stopped in this quaint little eatery based on 2 facts: Yelp reviews and the fact they had Garlic Knots. We found on the street parking easily in front and 75 cents in the meter gave us 2 hrs. Waitress greeted us immediately and said We could sit wherever we liked. Very clean and cheerful. Loved the red walls and place decal style motifs on the walls. They also have hand dipped ice cream available plus pies and small cakes. No beer or alcohol, so Tony had to go with iced tea and got really Nancy about it not being sweet enough for him. He can be such a princess sometimes...lol! He went with Mighty Meat Lovers Calzone, I ordered the Hot Hawaiian Calzone and Noki the Super Veggie Calzone (smalls for the table) and order of Garlic Knots for app to share..Tony and I split our calzones half and half and we both felt they were equally good yet totally different. Noel loved hers as well. There were no leftovers and we had to roll to the car parked on the street. Noel tried a small Mango Ice to go (ice cream sherbet style and very good). We will definitely go here again and highly recommend for all to try if given opportunity. Loved the dough, so fresh and delicious. read more

Excellent pizza. I order pizza from here everytime I work in the area and it never disappoints. Cheesecake was great too. Highly recommend.

We purchased a few salads and garlic knots. The salad ingredients did not taste fresh, the black olives were canned, the croutons were store made, the blue cheese dressing was really unpleasant tasting and the shredded cheese was minimal for a $10-$12 salad. The garlic knots were a nice, smaller, manageable size but a little dry. BUT this is a pizza place so I imagine they get that right but I did not have it. read more

This restaurant is exactly what Moundsville needed. I've worked in the area for 7 years and have gotten tired of lunch time always being the same two restaurants or fast food chain. My coworkers actually discovered this restaurant, it's only been open a short time at this point, when one of them had a job at Nana's home (yes Nana is a real person and not just a comforting name). Nana makes the desserts, including the ice cream, homemade at her home. This causes the quantities of certain flavors to be in shorter supply. As a side note I recently had a job at Nana's since eating here and I can see her personality in the restaurant and the staff hiring decisions. The food itself, I've had the pepperoni pizza twice now, is different than anything available in town. The crispy bottom of the crust plus a good amount of dough and sauce distribution are great. My coworkers got a pizza with sausage, bacon and pepperoni and they were equally as satisfied. The real crown jewel of Nana's is the desserts. On our lunch I had a mint chocolate chip cone and was blown away by the creaminess of it. The texture is a tell, even if you didn't know, that the ice cream is homemade and not mass produced. I was given a piece of cheesecake by Nana after working a job for her, cheesecake with raspberry and toasted pecans. It was cheesecake the way i like it. Rich and creamy with a small hint of cream cheese, not at all overpowering. The raspberry sauce, by the way, is made from raspberries Nana grows on her property. I also highly recommend the black raspberry ice cream. I got a pint of it and took it home and my wife and I devoured it. A note, don't plan on leaving without sampling the ice cream. The staff, a very friendly bunch who are committed to ensuring you leave happy, will give you several samples of the ice cream and it's various flavors. In the end I highly recommend Nana's Pizza and Pie. It's a unique place that is owned and operated by a family who understands and cares about their food. read more

I love Nana's! Everything is made right there from scratch and you can tell in the flavor. All the ice cream and pies are homemade by Nana. Her daughter/granddaughter? runs the shop and she does an excellent job. All of the staff are super friendly and willing to customize whatever you need. The chicken bacon ranch club is amazing, and the ranch is also homemade. I ate here all the time when I worked in town. Highly recommended!! read more

My gal and I went over for the first time for dinner last week and we were really impressed with the cleanliness of the place. When they clean a table they cleaned every part of it including the wire pizza stand and the salt and pepper shakers. Now a days this is a huge thing we feel. The food was excellent and the service as well. We ordered garlic knots, a small Calzone and a Small Pizza and each was excellent. Great fresh ingredients and a nice crust. Great flavors Towards the end the owner asked if we would like some of their homemade ice cream or desert, and usually not big desert people he proceeded to give us a sample of every flavor ice cream on display that night , I think there were 8 flavors and each were very good. This place is sooo good!! I've ordered three times. Once take away and twice delivery. Service is always fast and super friendly. But let me tell you about the food... IT's AWESOME!!! I've tried three different kinds of pizza each time, along with Nana's spinach rolls. Last night I decided to go for it and add a piece of home made cheesecake to my order, and I nearly cried while I was eating it because it was soooo decadent, rich, and delicious!! I loved it so much I called them and told them how amazing it was. I never do that. I'll definitely keep coming back for more, because there are so many other offerings I want to try. This is my first time eating at Nana's pizza place. Our waiter was extremely friendly and he took our order right away. We ordered the deluxe pizza. The crust taste amazing. My only complaint is there are no toppings on the pizza and the small size is 11.99. Too pricey for a small pizza in my opinion. Overall it's a cute little restaurant and I hope they stay open. read more

The pizza we got was mediocre at best. The ice cream was really good but we didn't like the strawberry rhubarb pie.....it didn't have very many strawberries. We did try it as we do any newer restaurants but neither was impressed so we won't be returning. It was quite a let down after hearing all the hype. Will go to Varsity or Pink Door. read more
