The haircuts are always too short and lopsided somehow. The vibe is alright though. I do not recommend.

Nancy is such a professional. She takes her time with such precision and doesn't chit chat. I would highly recommend her salon.

I want to start by saying I was so nervous coming here because I have not had my hair professionally styled in almost 10 years and as a Latina my hair is very thick and curly and not too many people know how to handle my hair. This wonderful lady took me in as a walk in today )and it's Sunday). Wow. Thank you so much Nancy! She did an amazing job. She truly cares about her clients as well because I wanted a keratin treatment, but instead of taking my money she was honest enough to tell me with my hair being already dry that it could damage it even more. So she did a blow out and straight ironed it instead. She also cut the ends evenly! I was dreading this because I didn't want it to be too short but she cut it perfectly. To sum it up I will now be coming as a regular to Nancy's hair salon! Thank you again so so much. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. My mom recently went here to get a root touch up on her BLONDE hair and she called me in hysterics because the stylist turned her hair BLUE. my mom then was told she had no choice but to go brunette. I would and will not ever recommend this salon to anyone. You would prolly have a better chance with a Walmart salon read more

Just recently moved to PA from California and was in need of a haircut. Looked around but everyone was booked last minute. Came across Nancy's shop here on yelp and saw all her reviews were very good. So I gave her a call and she took me in right away. I told what kind of cut I wanted and how I like it and she did exactly that and was very detailed. She even showed me how to style my hair in a high bun (sadly did not tale photo to post), but wil definitely always be grateful for teaching me a quick simple way to style my hair. I go to Nancy's place for styling and dying my hair. She always takes her time to do every process patiently and nicely. Before when I dyed my hair in other places, after I wash it for the first one at home, it always feels very dry, almost like dried grass tangled together. However, this never happened after I started to go to Nancy's. Solid 5 stars. read more

Best barber in town period. Knowing how to use a razor is one thing but mastering scissors is what makes a true barber. If you have straight hair(especially Asian), this is the place to go. read more

I don't recommend this place to anyone first of all she took a lot of time to do my hair , she stoped various time to do something else I got there at 9 almost 10am to get highlights and do a simple braid on the back I told her I needed to be at a wedding before 2:30pm I was one of the bridesmaids so I needed to be there early and have everything ready before the maid came she finished at 3pm I didn't even had what I asked for my hair was all over the place she put a lot of spray my hair didn't even move ,no joke and when I got home and got my stuff and left I was really late they already walked they had already kiss and everything and they were gonna start the party. I was pissed I planned everything early for that same reason to not be late get there early and have everything in place just in case I forget something or etc...but no I almost felt like crying because the person getting married is like a mother to me and I missed it because of this place . I will never go here again I don't know why she took that long and yes , I could've gone somewhere else but it was a Sunday and everything was closed and the place I usually go was closed so this place was my only hope and it didn't go as planned. She charged me $120 for the highlights and a pinned two braids together at the back of my head and nothing else.NEVER AGAIN going to this place IDK why so many people recommend it and like what she does but I don't . I hope people really check this place before going in here I did check but there was only like 4 comments and they said it was good and that they like it that's why I went but never again .Thanks read more
