It was a little uncomfortable for about a week afterward, but nothing difficult to manage, and after that I didn't even notice it was there. By the second week, I started seeing real improvements. My sleep dramatically improved, which was the first major change I noticed. Shortly after that, my libido returned--something I honestly thought was gone for good. I've also experienced a noticeable boost in energy and much clearer thinking, with the mental fog I used to struggle with significantly improving. Dr. Patel has been incredibly attentive and thorough throughout the entire process. She closely monitors my progress and makes sure every question or concern I have is addressed. Over that time, my blood work and treatment results were generally positive, and from a clinical standpoint things were going well. That said, there were a few issues that became frustrating over time. Even when visits were only to review routine lab results, Dr. Ho refused to do phone or virtual appointments. I often waited 30+ minutes in the lobby, drove through traffic both ways, and then had a 10-15 minute conversation that easily could have been handled remotely. The bigger problem came recently when my insurance changed from UnitedHealthcare to Cigna after more than seven years. I proactively called the office to update my information and was told they do not accept Cigna. No real explanation was given beyond "we're not set up with them." I then offered to pay cash and handle reimbursement myself through my insurance, which would have required no extra work from their office. That was also declined, simply because I technically have insurance -- insurance they don't accept. At that point it became clear the office no longer wanted me as a patient. For someone in the middle of long-term treatment, this was extremely frustrating and disruptive. Between the rigid appointment policies and the refusal to work with either my new insurance or a self-pay option, I've decided to find a new primary care doctor. Very disappointing experience after being a loyal patient for two years.

After my original primary care doctor opted out of the medical group associated with my insurance, I decided to find a new PCP. I chose Dr. Ho based on many positive reviews and was hopeful I'd receive attentive and thoughtful care. Unfortunately, that hasn't been my experience. I scheduled my annual checkup, and the appointment was relatively easy to make--easier than with my previous doctor. During the visit, Dr. Ho took time to go over my family medical history and current concerns, spending nearly an hour explaining various medical terms. While thorough, it felt more like he was showcasing his medical knowledge rather than truly listening or showing empathy. I mentioned a specific concern--a small lump near my uterus--and requested an ultrasound. Dr. Ho dismissed it at first, saying if there were a tumor or cyst, I would not be able to feel it clearly from my skin. Thankfully, he still agreed to send me for an ultrasound and gave me a referral to an OBGYN for further evaluation. However, things quickly went downhill from there. The ultrasound referral had my last name spelled incorrectly. I'm still unsure whether that error came from Dr. Ho's office or the medical group. I also never received the referral letter to the OBGYN. When I called the office multiple times to follow up, the front desk staff was impatient and quick to blame the medical group for the name mix-up and the missing referral. I contacted the medical group myself--they corrected my name but told me Dr. Ho's office never submitted the OBGYN referral. I decided to move forward with the ultrasound anyway. That's when things got even more frustrating. The ultrasound technician informed me the referral was only for an abdominal ultrasound, not a pelvic/uterine one. As a non-native English speaker, I had assumed the referral covered the area I was concerned about. Instead, I ended up with a scan of everything except what I asked for. When I called Dr. Ho's office to clarify, the staff insisted that the abdominal ultrasound was "sufficient" and told me to speak to the OBGYN about uterine concerns--again, the referral I never got. After more back and forth, they said they'd resubmit the referral. Two weeks later, I still hadn't received anything, but I was able to get the referral number from the medical group. When I finally tried to book an appointment with the OBGYN, their office told me the referral was only for a pap smear, not for evaluating my actual concerns. On the same day, Dr. Ho's office called to discuss my ultrasound results. I asked again about the proper referral, and the front desk staff responded dismissively, saying it was the OBGYN's responsibility now--or that I should just come in to talk to Dr. Ho again. At this point, I'd had enough. I shouldn't have to fight this hard for basic coordination of care. I don't feel heard, cared for, or respected--not by Dr. Ho, and certainly not by his staff. I've decided to switch primary doctors. No one should have to chase down referrals, correct clerical mistakes themselves, or beg for appropriate testing--especially when it comes to something as important as your reproductive health.

Like really nice for a medical office. I don't expect that for my medical visits but the front office staff are really sweet and easy to talk to. Dr. Pan is a wonderful doctor; his explanations are easy to follow and doesn't bombard you with medical jargon. I personally don't have good experiences with specialists but the doctor has good bedside manner and doesn't have an abrasive personality.

This updated review…read moreis a result of the numerous problems I have had since my initial visit back in November of 2024. The problem stems with the doctor's office using incorrect billing codes when submitting claims to my insurance carrier. Same problem with the lab for the lab work to be done as requested by the doctor, the doctor's office manager submitted the lab work request with the wrong billing codes! A few months after my November visit, I noticed that the medical claims submitted by the doctor's office and the claims submitted by the lab were rejected by my insurance carrier. Eventually, I called and spoke with the office manager about the rejected medical claims and she told me they were having problems with getting claims processed because the doctor was trying to get his daughter -- who is also a licensed doctor -- involved in his practice, but that endeavor was causing problems with the insurance carrier. Something nonsensical like that. Anyway, since I was not being billed and I noticed that another attempt to get reimbursement from my insurance was being processed, I just let it go and wait to see what happens. Well, what happened is that claims from both the doctor's office and the lab were still rejected and not being paid! So, now I had to investigate into this mess -- and what a mess it was! Over a period of several weeks and spending a total of 3 hours on the telephone with my insurance carrier and another 4 hours with the lab's billing department I found out what the problem was. The doctor's office manager screwed-up and not only applied the wrong billing codes for the types of service requested when the claims were first submitted, the office manager kept using the same billing codes when resubmitting the claims! Well, to make a VERY long story short, I contacted the doctor's office and explained what the problem is and what needed to be done. After spending about 3 or 4 weeks of back-and-forth with the doctor's office manager and/or the doctor's PA, the lab, and the insurance carrier, plus complaints from the doctor's office manager and PA about having to fix the mess THEY created, the billing errors were eventually resolved! Both the visit with the doctor in November and the bills for the lab work the doctor ordered. What a mess! I will never go back there again! While I still think Dr. Juste is a good practitioner, his office staff is a mess. The staff gave me lots of run around, complained they had patients waiting to see the doctor so cannot help at the moment (I guess you're only a patient when you're physically present in the office) so will get to it later, they have to spend lots of time on the phone with the billing department (so what, I HAD too as well to get this resolved), the billing service the doctor uses to send bills to the insurance carrier probably messed-up, etc. My biggest complaint is that I had to spend a lot time getting this resolved! In fact, if anyone has a right to complain about spending time on this issue, it is me! I have had other practitioners that have had claims rejected which they take care of it themselves and do not involve me! If I had not gotten involved with this mess, it would have NEVER been properly resolved! Although I no longer recommend this practice; but neither do I not recommend this practice.

I recently…read morecame across her Yelp page while searching for her address and was genuinely surprised to see her rating drop. It felt very unfair, and I wanted to share my experience. It is always a pleasure to see Dr. Tran. She has consistently been patient, attentive, and respectful. I tend to have a lot of questions, and I usually do my own research before appointments because I know she is busy and other patients are waiting. That mutual respect goes both ways, and she has never made me feel rushed or dismissed. What I value most is how she explains my health issues. She takes the time to explain the underlying reasons, not just what to do or what not to do. That approach helps me truly understand the situation so I can make informed decisions. Many doctors simply give instructions without explaining the logic behind them, and with my personality, that often leads me to ignore advice I don't fully understand. Dr. Tran is different, and that makes a huge difference in my care. The staff has also been consistently helpful and professional. As long as you arrive on time, there is usually very little waiting. Good communication between a doctor and patient is extremely important, and Dr. Tran genuinely listens. I hope she continues practicing medicine the way she does and doesn't let unfair reviews discourage her.
