I first met McKenzie as a sitter myself, but since having our first son I have traded places and been able to hire her for babysitting services as well. We started using McKenzie back in 2016 after daycare didn't go so well for our first child. She came to our house to do the initial interview to see what we were looking for in a nanny. Right off the bat, she was warm, friendly, and engaged. She asked great questions and really cared about trying to match us with someone who would fit our lifestyle and personalities. She was honest with discussions regarding pay, and she helped me write a contract (optional). Within just 1-2 weeks (during the holidays), she found us a great potential. Just before we were scheduled to meet her, she called me to tell me she found another nanny that was also great. Even though we didn't get the higher package, she agreed to let us meet both before deciding since the second one was a late addition. Turned out to be the best decision of our lives - the second one is who we chose, and she is still with us 3 years and another kid later. We are so lucky to have her and she has changed our lives. Our kids LOVE her. She's like part of the family. After our nanny started, McKenzie would call to check in on us every few months to see if we had any questions or issues. She checked in with our nanny too to make sure it continued to be a good fit. Since that time, she has served as my consultant for giving raises and bonuses, she has helped us find additional babysitters and night nannies, and she has even tried to help us find babysitting coverage on trips to the east coast! She also helps with emergency backups - so one day when our nanny had an emergency and couldn't come to work last minute, she found us a backup nanny within 2 hours!!!! At first I was a little skeptical about hiring Nannies International services. Once my husband and I met with the Owner and explained the process we felt really comfortable.
