No, it was not during a rush time - they simply didn't give a shit. Then we managed to get pretty much fully wrapped up and ready to go before she bothered to come with the bill. Very perplexed to see 02 sub-standard reviews from other yelp reviewers…read more... My disclaimer would be, those folks have a combined 22 reviews between them... I question their credibility. Another disclaimer: Austria is a magical, incredible place. It's almost surreal, like being on another planet. The standards for everything are super-super high... I don't see how any legitimate place of business could get a weak review. And now, on with the review: We were driving from Munich to Zurich. And a beautiful drive that was. Drove right thru the lovely town of Seefeld, and per earlier dialogue, it was like taking a page out of the Sound of Music. Beauty everywhere. This is a ski-town, resort like place, though we were here in October of 2018. We walked around a bit, there were tons of little outdoor cafes etc, it was a crisp fall day, and we decided to eat here.... It's a really clean, tight place. I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, my girlfriend had the carrot soup and salad, we split a bottle of san pelligrino in typical European fashion, everything was terrific. Attention to detail, pleasant service, nice silverware, plates, clean... all that stuff that you would expect. Another positive sign, the bathroom was impeccably clean. This is another rating standard I look for. We did not have dessert but all that stuff looked super tasty as well. In my opinion, this would be a great place to dine for lunch or dinner, nestled in a very beautiful setting.

We also had the spinach cheese balls too, which were also liked, it was very tasty but quite a heavy dish, to be expected. We also had the cheese spatzle dish, it was really nice too. To top it off we had the apple strudel and the sxhmarne dessert. Both were good. We liked the schmarne the best. It was liked and even a little crunchy too. The sauces were very good and not sweet. Overall a great experience, great from beginning to end.

During our two-week tour through three countries, these were the two best meals that we had. The food is spectacular, and for a tourist visiting the area, it's an absolute revelation.
