Children of all ages, from infants to toddlers, are mixed together. The children have a predictable daily routine, doing projects like holiday-,letter-, or number-themed drawing, free-play, and playing in the playground outside. And, of course, nap time. Dieu does an incredible job letting the kids play while also teaching them to share, "wait your turn," and play nicely with other children. Dieu and Greg are so committed to their work that they remodeled a section of their house, turning it into a huge play area for the children. Dieu sends out a daily email that lets us know what our kid has been doing, which is awesome. Our daughter has been going to Dieu's for almost 2 years, since she was 5 months old. She has so much fun that she doesn't want to go home at the end of the day. Our younger daughter will start in December of 2015.

We started our daughter at Cadence during the pandemic. Cadence was so welcoming and facilitated me being able to meet my daughter's teachers via Zoom before we started. Although we were not able to enter the building to send our daughter off, they made it feel as though we could with their awesome report app that they use to send you updates and pictures of your child throughout the day. Through the last few years we have grown to know and love the teachers at Cadence. When we had our second child, we started him in daycare even sooner than we did our first because we had that trust in Cadence. There were some staffing retainment issues at one point, but there has recently been a drastic shift in management which has been received favorably by all parents and staff. The food included in the tuition is thoughtfully prepared, selected, and of very good quality. The playground areas are segregated by age and are very spacious. The daily note system they use gives parents a huge piece of mind of their children's daily activities. They also do progress reports on the children which are not at all generic. They are very personable and well critiqued. The additional activities offered through Cadence are cohesive and engaging. Events like parents nights, pajama parties, and arts and crafts parties offer even more opportunities for both education and social interaction. The teachers there love and accept all children with graceful patience like they are their own. They are very creative with their daily activities and classroom routines. Cadence, for my family, has allowed my wife and I to focus on our jobs while at work knowing that our children are nurtured and loved during the day.

Any time we tried to communicate issues, the owners were argumentative and rude. They left the door to the house unlocked on at least 2 occasions which is, in itself, as unprofessional as a cleaning business can be. The final straw was that we discovered that one of the co-owners picked used, obviously dirty and wet towels up off the floor, folded them, and put them away in a linen closet as if they were clean. When I brought this up with her, she went on a tirade that was not only completely unprofessional, but rude and insulting to me personally. She blamed everyone and everything for her inability to perform the duties she was hired to do, and never once took responsibility. When we requested to meet in person to end her employment with us, she withheld our linens. Do yourself a HUGE favor and don't bother with this "company."
