I walked over to the blade selection and thought, why am I giving these people my money. I walked into another auto parts store by Walgreens and, even though there were two service people in there, no one even said, Can I help you! Bye Bye. Turned the car off and they checked the battery charge. It was slightly low, but they weren't completely convinced it was dead due to the corrosion all around one of the battery connections. The gentleman cleaned about half the easy-to-reach corrosion off and then tested my alternator. Him and his boss let me know of course they could sell me a battery, but they weren't 100% convinced that it needed a new one. The told me how I could clean off the corrosion easily (with Coke). I went home and did it, and the car has started right up a couple times now!!! I'll be back here when I need something, but for now am grateful that they let me know how to fix the problem and not just say "yep, here's a new battery."

I have gone to NAPA's in my home town of Thomasville NC and they have provided services to their patrons. Not happy with the cold response I received from the Brevard manager.
