They are not careful during the process of oil change and leave missing pieces or loosen bolts. As soon as I complained about it, Matthew was rude to me, yelled at me and said my Hyundai Tucson 2010 was a shitty car whit a bunch of plastic underneath in front all customers. Matthew arrogance and Ego are huge. They overcharged and demand to change things that your car doesn't need. So, if you are a woman, please find a better place where to go. Be aware that mechanics have a lot knowledge about cars and some just want to take advantage of your kindness and wallet. Always look for 3 different quotes before making any decision.

For example, their diagnosis on my brakes was simply not true. I am confident this was just an attempt to sell me on brakes. A headlight diagnosis was that I had a blown bulb and there was labor required to remove the headlight assembly when in reality it was simply a blown fuse. Following this, I had the work completed elsewhere to satisfy everything they had listed for the car to pass a safety inspection. When I returned for the re-inspection they simply refused to give my car a safety and came back with a new list of things they were unhappy with that apparently required repairs or changes. This garage tries to make things seem worse than they are to get business. In the end, I did receive a refund for the cost of the safety which I am thankful for. However, there was no respect for the time that I spent satisfying their requirements for a safety certification and dealing with made up issues that were not of concern. When performing a safety inspection on a car there is a schedule that you must follow. If the car meets the standards specified it is safe to be used on the road. I can't understand how you can have your own set of standards and then not honor the repairs that you had requested. I would avoid this garage and not go back, I hope you avoid the same mistake I made.

I advise people to stay away from this mechanic shop…read more In my experience and opinion, George the owner of Rito's: - Overcharges for parts - Tries to pass non-genuine Honda parts as actual Honda parts - Overcharges for labour - Doesn't give you accurate estimates as to what something will cost - Changes the price charged after the repair is completed - pretends a repair is harder and more involved than it actually is so he can charge you more money I am not a certified mechanic, so take my advice for what you think it is worth, but I do have a basic understanding of cars. I took my car to George because it was making a vibration like sound after getting my A/C replaced and i thought it might be a bad harmonic balancer or a bad belt tensioner. I also wanted my brake lines replaced and a sway bar link changed out and I asked him why my A/C wasn't blowing cold. George told me the belt tensioner was fine and he told me he couldn't remove the harmonic balancer because of rust - it was seized. He also quoted me $1500 to replace the brake lines and told me it was a full day - 7 hour job for just the brake lines because he said he had to bend the brake lines. I refused the $1500 brake line quote - obviously - as that was a ridiculously high quote. He charged me $80 to try and remove the harmonic balancer, even though he didn't actually get the bolt off and didn't do the repair. He charged me another $220 to replace the 1 sway bar link and check the A/C - quite expensive. So, I paid $300 for the 1st day of repairs but all I really got was a new sway bar link and a confirmation that my A/C wasn't leaking. Anyways, as he was backing out the car from his garage, I heard the vibration sound again and after pointing out the sound to George. He checked the belt tensioner again and said - 'Yes, maybe your Belt Tensioner does need replacing.' So, I paid him another $300 and asked him to get me a genuine Honda belt tensioner to replace the faulty one on my car. He told me to come back tomorrow because he needed to wait for the part to arrive and so I did that. But when he went to replace the belt tensioner on Day 2, he said it was going to take 3 hours because the bolts were rusted. He told me he had to remove the engine mount - not actually needed to do the repair - and then he said the engine mount was too rusted to remove, when he could have easily done it if he wanted to. He pretended that his impact tool was struggling to remove it, but I could tell he wasn't on the nut properly and he wasn't using the the full power of the imapct tool - he was pretending it was stuck when it should have been an easy task for any mechanic using any mid-range torque gun. I grew tired of his antics and I asked for the part back so I could go somewhere else, but he refused to give me the belt tensioner back. When I got suspicous and asked him if the part was indeed a genuine honda part, he said - I THINK SO. I thought it was odd for him to tell me HE THINKS that the part is a genuine honda and I thought it was odd that he wouldn't give it back to me since I already paid for it and the easiest thing for him to do would be to hand it to me, as he was holding it at that moment. Why not just give it to me so I could take it somewhere else and get it fixed? Why refuse me and then have to send it back and pay a restocking fee? Who does that? That makes no sense if you understand how auto parts are bought and sold. So, again, his actions seemed very suspicious to me. I got the $300 back that I had given him for the tensioner and drove back to my own city and made an appointment at the Honda dealership for a belt tensioner replacement. You would think Honda would be more expensive than an independent garage, but Honda quoted me 1 hour to replace the belt tensioner - not the 3 hours George was quoting me - and Honda charged me less for the part @ $259 tax included than George charged me @ $300 tax included. Why is Rito's Garage charging me more than the dealership is charging me for both the part and the labour? And as i said I am not even sure if George bought the part from the Honda dealership - as he claimed - because he wouldn't give it to me when I asked him for it, even though I had paid for it and he would have to return it and pay a restock fee by refusing to give it to me. Really, that makes no sense at all unless the part didn't come from the dealership and he didn't want to be exposed that it was a non genuine Honda part by returning it to me and having me find out. Too many red flags at this garage. Maybe others have had a better experience with RITOs and maybe I went to him when he wasn't at his best - I don't know. But in my experience, you should stay away from this place. His behaviour seems very suspicious, his prices are insanely high and he doesn't like to tell you how much something costs until he starts the work, then he instantly tells you it will be more money as he has your car on the lift.

George is wonderful and honest , he really shows he cares about his customers…read more I'm never nervous about being taken advantage of when I bring my car to his shop.
