--MUST READ -- I am updating my review from 2015 as I currently received a response from Dr. Eade. So I will write a more thorough in detail review. I was in a car accident back in 2012, where my car was totaled and I had back pain that persisted. At the time my close family friends, who all received care here, referred me to Dr. Eades Family Chiropractic. I sought care here from Feb-April as a client. Within that time I had adjustments 3 times a week and decreased to 2 times and then once a week. In this time, I did start to feel better, however I was told I "plateaued" in progress so I occasionally made visits once a month after moving out of town. In those late stages of care I was advised to see a injury attorney by Mr. EADE. After much urging from Eade I went ahead and sought out a attorney. When I would come in for visits DR. EADE would mention that he was on my side and would do anything it took to help me with my case, he advised I give him my attorneys telephone number so he could fax over paperwork to move my case along. Every visit he seemed very curious and asked for updates on my case. I found this odd but paid no mind. I knew at this time many of his patients that he would take in were accident cases. He was frustrated with these cases because the insurance company's were making it very difficult for him to get payment because his practice is a medical alternative, so many old cases he never had been paid for. Looking back, I know NOW that he used me and my vulnerability at the time (I was 22) to make sure with me, he got paid. This is where I look back and see that he pretended to be a caring DR that wanted me to get better. Yet when it comes to money he is a he will burn and step on anyone to get it. So when I mentioned during my last visit that the case was coming to a close and we had settled, my attorney called to tell me THAT DR. EADE HAD BEEN CALLING AND TELLING MY ATTORNEY HE WOULD SUE AND GO TO COURT IF HE DIDNT GET HIS MONEY. Demanding MORE THAN the amount I was granted. He wanted $5,500! My attorney, advised me that he himself was even taking a lesser amount in the payout because he didn't want to have to deal with Dr Eade. I was shown a document with the amount I would get paid and what Dr. Eade would get paid. KEEP IN MIND that it is legally my responsibility to pay my doctors what is owed for my care. NEVER DO DOCTORS go behind their clients backs and get involved with their clients legal cases. When I was shown this document, after all the work and appointments, driving to to see my attorney in Marin and being in physical pain... discovering that EADE was taking advantage of me this whole time? I started shaking with anger. In my entire life, I have never been taken advantage like that. So I called EADES office myself. I acted calm and cool because I knew he would avoid me if not. I reminded him that MY signature was what was needed to get paid, he agreed to see me. I brought my mom for support, we sat down later that day to meet in his office. In that time he had prepared a ONE sided paperwork stack to present with notes of all of the work and care they gave me (keep in mind) in those 2 MONTHS of care only. It took a lot of courage for me to come and meet this DR. and tell him it wasn't right what he was doing. I called my attorney to see if I could dismiss the settlement because at that point I didn't care about the money, I just didn't want him to get paid for going behind my back and taking advantage of my situation. I was told I couldn't do that so I told DR. EADE out of principle I would sign the paperwork if he agreed to take a dollar less. He agreed. I think his conscious kicked in, as I was tearing up and shaking. I went to shake his hand to make sure he followed through with our deal, he looked down at my hand and walked off to his office. That was the last time I saw him at his work. So he received $5,000 for 2 months of adjustment from me. Is this where the story ends? No it doesn't. To make a long story short a year later I get a random call where he accuses me of stealing from him. You would think taking my settlement money from my accident was enough. To this day, he has the nerve to wave to me if he sees me. He is a bully. I made the conscious choice that I just needed to move on with my life. (He has done this to others, I am just the only one who yelped about it.) I pride myself on honest reviews and would never take this long to write a review if it didn't need to be done. My initial review is from 4 years ago. All of a sudden out of no where he threatens me with legal action. No one should go through this. Eade Chiropractic, all you got out of this was money you didn't deserve and a former patient who you did anything but help. Let's keep that in mind. read more

Dr. Eade is a good Chiropractor and very nice, however, his business practices are unethical. His staff overcharges for using run down equipment in poor condition. They bill your insurance co. then do not reimburse you for the funds received. His staff is like a revolving door with new staff coming in on a constant basis. We asked for the final summary and they handed us inflated statements with double and triple services on the same day just to increase the cost. I would not recommend this Chiropractor. As it turns out I went to Dr. Eade for a pain in my mid-back. They used a Pressure Wave on the area several times and charged $199 for 5-10 minutes and when I had a recent Scan it showed I had a mild fracture in the same area so his method was not the right treatment. read more

I have been seeing Dr. David Eade for about 4 years now. I was having serious problems with my nervous system that started at about age 45. I had gone to Kaiser for help. But, all they wanted to do was give my 800mg of Ibuprofen three times a day. My symptoms were numbness down my arm, headaches, upper back aches, limited range of motion in my neck, and trouble sleeping. I could fend off most of the symptoms with Ibuprofen. But, if I missed taking one, the symptoms would return. Dr. Eade removed most of these symptoms within the first 8 weeks. I have been going back ever since. I have just completed the 35 day weight loss program with Dr. Eade and I have to say that I am overall pleased with the results and focused on my lifelong commitment to healthy and mindful eating coupled with exercise. I initially came to Dr. Eade looking to try the Contour Light body shaping system. My program not only included 5 Contour Light sessions but an initial 5 day fast mimicking diet protocol followed by a program made up of meal replacement shakes and supplements and healthy protein rich food. When I started seeing Dr. Dave in 2019 I had spent a lot of time in the hospital. One time almost a year in the ICU then rehab to learn to walk. So you have a good idea of my condition, I was able to get to using a cane when walking and that is where I am. My back was so weak, along with my neck I felt they were too heavy to hold up. So after seeing Dr. Dave all this time, today, I want to say he has helped me immensely! I sit up straight, I walk much better, I still use my cane. I love being able to hold up my head without feeling tired. Yes, you need to work with him and do the exercise he recommends, and if you do you will feel much better. I have been watching a big fancy chiropractor guru on Youtube for five years. People from all over the world go there for treatment, and I drove 1000 miles to see him for an evaluation. I had a little emergency once I returned and went to Dr. Eade...THANKFULLY! I feel my evaluation with Dr Eade was much more comprehensive and Dr. Eade discovered things on the x-rays and exams the other guy did NOT. I feel my proposed course of treatment was much better thought out and even more resources were available to me right here in my own back yard. The other guy had a big personality and I'm sure does outstanding work, but Dr. Eade has a big talent and commitment to healing and to his patients and I feel I ended up in a better place. After six weeks of treatment we have made dramatic improvements to my forward head carriage and dowagers hump. We are also working on correcting my injured knee so I won't need a knee replacement and correcting my hormone balance and weight. I'm almost 70 years old and my ability to retain my independence is very important to me. I marvel at the level of care and extensive knowledge and resources that are available at this practice, not to mention the cost was roughly half of what the guru was charging. I was referred to Dr. Eade by a friend. My first visit was the evaluation, 2 pages of questions, an interview and Xrays. I was a little apprehensive but because of the way my friend raved about the improvement in her health I trusted the Dr.. I am so glad I did. I feel so much better, I can hardly believe it. I have been coming here for nearly 3 years now even since I was 24. I used to have my back go out about once every 6-7 weeks, also had many bad headaches, back aches and muscle pain, I had it all. A lot of it came from being a very active individual and ending up with serious head and body injuries along the way. Since starting my treatment with Dr Dave, within the first few months there was an amazing improvement. After the first few months of treatment that was catered to my specific issues I have not had a migraine or throbbing headaches or have thrown my back out since coming to Dr Dave. I now can get a whole workout in without stopping from pain and also I rarely get sick because the treatment and care make my immune system work more efficiently. From all of the help that he gave me for my spine, I actually grew half an inch taller because my posture is straighter now. I have also learned practical fitness and diet tips from Dr Dave because along with being a chiropractor, he also is a nutritionist that gives you real advice and knowledge to help you beyond fixing the mechanics of your body. Dr. Eade sells a 42 day weight loss program that touts 1-2 pounds of weight loss a day! I wasn't expecting those results but 2 pounds in 18 days is not worth paying $1400 for! This 42 day program, consisting of protein powder, skinny up drops, and other supplements, cost me $1,400.00!! After following the protocol, I had only lost 2 pounds just about half way through the program. Those kind of results are unacceptable, especially after the restrictive diet he had me on between 600-800 calories. I kindly asked Dr. Eade for a reimbursement, explaining that the program wasn't working for me. He has been unresponsive to my emails and won't see me when I stopped into his office. His uncooperativeness is unprofessional and bad business. Napa is a small community. I will be vocal about Dr. Eade's scam and unwillingness to refund me to all of my friends, business owners and community leaders. His program is a scam because if he really believed in what he was doing, he would stand behind the program and offer a refund if the program wasn't working. What kind of a weight loss program makes you pay $1400 upfront? None that I know. It's pay as you play....results keep you paying. What a huge disappointment.
