Teachers who have the honor to teach here never leave out of choice. The atmosphere from administrators on top to personnel on down have always been loving, supportive of the students in more than in their education. Strong academically, many send their children here instead of private schools in the area. There are many after school programs and sports as well. All the extras you expect as well as other courses. Ask what the student retention rate is. Ask what the average SAT and ACT test scores are, and ask for proof. The academics in the upper grades are especially dismal. Both student and staff turnover are very high. We greatly regret staying in TVS despite the many red flags, but our horrible experience with the upper school was the final straw.

Seacrest is a pre K -12 grade school and I do not know the entire school student population but I know that the high school population is around 150, so obviously it's a small school. Seacrest is a close knit community that is extremely welcoming to newcomers and as far as the high school goes I have not met one person who came to Seacrest for a semester and felt unsatisfied. Because of the smallness of the community coupled with the numerous clubs and sports students are for the most part, verry well rounded.
