Amazing private boat tour around Naples with Captain Chris. The pontoon is perfectly sized for six people. When you arrive at their address, look for the little shack and picnic table where you can wait. Parking can be tricky, but if you're lucky, the dental office valet may hook you up. We did the 1.5 hour option, which was perfect for us, my in-laws, and our two little ones. Saw the mansions of Port Royal, some dolphins, and then jumped off in Hatch Cove on Keewaydin island for some shell collecting. Captain Chris was fun and knowledgeable. We've taken several boat rides over the past years on vacation and this was the best. Perry helped us to see many dolphins and even an iguana. He was very knowledgeable about the birds and other wildlife. We came back with some beautiful shells from Keyweedin Island. We were a party of six and we went out for the one hour cruise at 1:00 PM on a Monday. We liked the fact that the boat was limited to six people, so it was just our party. We had lots of room to spread out, and the seats were comfortable. There were some in the sun and some in the shade. It was a very easy, smooth ride and our captain, Chris, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the the Naples Bay area. We saw so many unbelievably gorgeous homes and the water is only about 10 to 20 feet deep so it was very clear. We got to see a family of very playful dolphins, which was what we came for. The dolphins came right up alongside our boat and jumped out of the water a few times showing off their skills for us. It was a wonderful cruise and we were able to bring a cooler on board with a few drinks for ourselves.......highly recommend! read more

It was a little chilly for our first few days in Naples, but as soon as the sun came out we booked a dolphin/shell excursion. I was hoping for a 2 hour excursion, but it was fully booked...but the 1.5 hours turned out to the perfect amount of time. There are a few different options for dolphin/shell tours in the Naples area, but this one seemed to be priced the best. They allow up to 6 people on a tour so my family of 5 ended up with a private tour, which was awesome. Our captain, Perry, said that's usually the case with a family of 5 since rare for people to book on their own...but happens on occasion. We enjoyed a relaxing boat ride and saw a bunch of amazing houses, dolphins (so fun!) and then made our way to a private beach. My family doesn't love the beach (prefer a good pool), but everyone had fun collecting seashells for an hour or so. We also some some crabs, which my youngest found exciting. Perry took some great pics of our family on the beach as well. Captain Perry himself was fun to spend an hour and a half with and this trip was one of the highlights of our week in Naples. read more

We were in Naples during the busy Easter/Spring Break season. We tried to book the "usual" sunset cruises but they were all booked. We stumbled upon an available 6:00 pm slot with Naples Water Tours for a "shelling" excursion. It wasn't exactly what we wanted but we wished to be on the water so we booked it. Much to our delight, upon arrival, the captain asked us if we would prefer a nice cruise among the houses which was PERFECT! Very chill. Loved the insider information. Wonderful tour with Captain Perry on a pontoon boat, so groups are small or just family. We motored around the beautiful homes as he told us about the area. We learned about the mangroves and stopped at a white sand secluded beach for shell hunting. Mangos were washing up on the beach. Captain Perry is informative and funny. He grew up in the area, so he has a wealth of knowledge. Definitely recommend this tour. Plenty of parking is on the street. Look for the three story yellow condos and head left toward the water. The boat was smaller than I expected but it was a wonderful experience. I loved the way our captain Chris took us right up to the dolphin and we got to see him play and swim around and under us. He was very knowledgeable about the homes and things in the area. He explained about the results after the hurricane hit the area in 2022 and the results to the trees and islands. We were very disappointed with this 2 hr tour. We were never given any safety procedures, introductions or information as to what to expect. The captain took us through the bay and discussed some of the homes, and we found a couple of pods of dolphins. All the while he was cutting in and out of boats in a way that was hazardous. We were taken to a private island, we were given no instruction just told to be back in 30 minutes. On the return he was going so fast we were thrown out of seats more than once. He then slowed down but went directly into a wake that completely soaked is in front. We would not recommend this to anyone especially those with children. Under the influence? Who knows. We visited Naples Water Tours on December 29, 2019 while visiting the Fort Myers area from Dallas/Fort Worth and are so glad we did. I made a reservation from our hotel room a couple of days before taking the tour by checking out various other boat tours, many of which were already sold out, and it was quick and easy with an instant email confirmation. We drove down to Naples and arrived at the small dock area and when it came time to take our tour the three others that were supposed to be there were no shows leaving my partner and I as the only participants. We had planned to take the dolphin tour and Keewaydin Island shelling but Captain Perry asked what we wanted to do and we were happy to forego the shelling for a tour of Naples Bay. Captain Perry is a lifelong resident of the area and gave us the best tour possible, driving us past the many beautiful homes lining the bay and letting us know who owned many of them. We saw some beautiful homes and yachts as well as seeing quite a bit of the nature around Naples Bay. The day we went we didn't spot any dolphins but I've been on others around Galveston Bay and Laguna Madre around South Padre Island so been there, done that. :) The hour and a half tour was well worth the affordable price and Captain Perry's knowledge of the area and friendliness made the day worth it! We ate at Tin City and saw some of the larger boats leaving with crowds of people so we enjoyed the much smaller boat we toured on as well as being the only ones on the tour. The boat would comfortably seat maybe ten people and even if full would allow people to ask questions and talk, something you won't get with a bigger boat and a bigger tour. We'd highly recommend the Naples Water Tour located at the Charter House Boat Club dock at 1000 10th Avenue South in Naples and be sure to ask for Captain Perry! You'll be glad you did! read more
