We just pulled our daughter out of there because they aren't even pretending to apply a curriculum for pre-k. They're babysitters, now, and not even very good ones at that. Most recently, we found soiled clothing stuffed into her backpack with her other clothing, sheet, and blanket. Not in a bag, just right into her backpack which now is soaked with urine. My four-year-old doesn't often have accidents, but good lord, what lazy, thoughtless person thought this was ok? During the pandemic, staff was supposed to be masked. Almost daily, either on dropoff or pickup, there were staff seen in classrooms or in the office (the part parents and kids walk though) either completely without a mask or the mask pulled down. Every time I brought it up, I was told that they'd "mention it in a staff meeting" or confirm that yes, it is their policy for staff to mask up. Regardless of your views on masking, the fact that they just didn't enforce their own policies that are supposed to be in place for safety, is unacceptable. The owner, Tom, also spread misinformation during the pandemic regarding masks and other preventive measures via signage posted at the center and at the summer camp location. This place started going down hill quickly when the director (a couple of directors ago, I think) left. Andrea was the last good one, but it was clear that she was being hamstrung from actually doing anything good there. I know it's tough finding a child care center these days, but please, if you have the option, look elsewhere. I'm sure there are other places just as bad or worse, but I no longer trust this place to keep my child safe and certainly not to prepare her for kindergarten. The dozen or teachers who have cycled through that room in the past few months have been uninterested in getting to know the kids, have completely ignored kids who clearly needed attention, were downright mean to kids (witnessed during dropoff on numerous occasions). If you can help it, please trust your children to another center. Also, the five star review that this is updating was written with the promise of a starbucks giftcard. I'm not sure how many other positive reviews are genuine.

There are many great spots to get lunch after preschool is over. The staff members are very kind and accommodating. This is a co op preschool, so you're encouraged to attend with your kiddos. You can obviously drop them off, but you are urged to have one day where you stay and help work around the classroom. I have two kids, one who is four months old. I was scared that I wouldn't be able to bring her with me, or I would have to leave my son in the class alone. I was told that I am welcome to bring her along, I just had to make sure she was in a baby carrier. We have been attending for a few weeks now, and so far I've learned a few things about my son. He isn't as shy as I thought he was, he learns new things super quickly and he enjoys making new friends. I am very curious to see how different he will be at the end of the school year. I like how parents are encouraged to help the teacher with all aspects of learning. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're ready to have your kids go to preschool. Everyone here is so nice, and the activities are super fun.

My son attended Cascade from pre-k to 7th grade. Although we did have our fair share of issues with…read moreteachers and staff over the years, we always felt like attending cascade compared to public school was the lesser of two evils. The biggest takeaway we got rather quickly was cascades number 1 priority was profit. Aside from the constant fund raising on top of the very expensive tuition, they find ways to charge you for every little thing (like football cost $250 to play on top of providing your child with cleats etc). I don't want to make it seem like we were miserable because that wasn't the case. Cascade preaches we're all family and did a good job of making us believe that! That is until it's time to stand up for each other like family is supposed to. The summer going into 7th grade I became extremely sick and lost my mobility. I was unable to work, exhausted my savings and maxed out my credit cards paying bills and tuition. Between hospital visits, I was in constant communication with the powers that be at cascade, In hopes we could come up with a plan to keep my child in the only school he's ever known. Sadly that was not the case! Not only did they kick my son out but they did it in a manner that showed no compassion! He took it hard initially leaving all his friends. Of course I felt like I failed my son but you never think it can happen to you until it does. Unfortunately That cascade family stuff they preach extends about the length of your wallet! It's just big business. Nothing else matters!

Our kids are very athletic and we have one that is attending a D2 school on athletic scholarship and our other children are competing in sports and getting play time and those sports that LCA does not offer, like Lacrosse, they are able to play through our neighborhood high school. We have been very pleased with our experience here.

As a former "lifer" and one of the few student athletes to go on to play D1 sports, and someone who's family has been a large part of the church for 4 generations, I can speak with certainty the trauma this place causes. I've watched it decline more and more since I graduated. The grade level education does not meet the level of education at public schools and especially does not compete with other private schools. Many students who left Life Christian felt under prepared at other schools because of the gap in education. Math and science programs are purposely under funded. The nepotism, rampant misogyny and over sexualization of young women, and unhealthy power dynamics should send any parent running from this institution.
