Almost 2 months ago I was able to switch daycares and enroll my 2 school age kids in Olympic View. I am so beyond pleased with this center! The enrollment process was quick and easy and the director stayed in constant communication! Unlike most daycares this center smells really good and it's clean!!! My kids were extremely nervous about starting at a new daycare because they didn't think they would know anyone. Turns out a handful of their friends from school go here too! When there is no school Olympic View takes the children on field trips. So far my kids have been to the pumpkin patch, movies and the zoo. They offer dance classes and cheerleading which I palm on enrolling my daughter in next week! The center puts together wonderful events for the kids and their families and just recently started a gift box for Christmas where you get a beautifully decorated box provided by the center and return it to the center for a gift to go to a child in need. The teachers are fabulous and great with my kids. Sometimes they get upset if I come too early. Another thing that I appreciate about the center is even tough it's a Christian daycare, the don't force it on you, even though I plan to attend Sunday church here. They have a security system and the only way to get in is with the pin number of your choosing. I can make payments online, with my debit card at the center, autopay and other ways which makes paying really convenient. There are so many more great things I can say about this center, but families should definitely check it out for themselves!

The teachers are so friendly and the classrooms are super clean and well kept. Not to mention adorable and full of so many great activities! They are wonderful at teaching responsibility and kindness. As a parent I appreciate how healthy their delicious lunches and snacks are. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a safe and fun place for their kiddo.

My daughters first day of daycare went the way I was hoping it wouldn't, fear (just turned 4…read moremonths old, INFANT ROOM) Long story short: -I wasn't given a code to enter both door to the center. I had to wait on someone coming in both times. Not one person introduced themself or greeted us. It was like the teacher was unaware she was coming or just unprepared. I had to lead the conversation, where to put my daughter's bottles, diapers etc. -I picked her up with the whole right side of her face completely scratched up. No one called me or addressed it when I came in. When I picked her up I noticed it. "A friend must have grabbed her to say hello." Wasn't an actual answer at the time. Why was my 4 month even on the floor?? She is the youngest and doesn't even sit up yet. Safety for her wasn't considered. Couldn't give me an incident report because no one was available to sign. The following day I stopped in to grab it and her stuff, the form stated "she was laying on floor, friend scratched her" -The teacher had my baby laying across her lap no head support just dangling off her leg. She looked miserable! She didn't even get off the floor to great me or pass me my daughter. I had to bend over her it was just unsettling. -As soon as I walk in "she cried all day! Nothing soothed her! She cried all day. She wouldn't stop crying." When I left her I told them to call me if she was too much I'll drop everything. My daughter opened her eyes at the lady & she goes "don't you start crying again" not in a positive manner. -Asked when she was coming back (I hadn't processed the events) I said tomorrow at 6am, she gave a sigh and eye roll like "we have to do this again tomorrow" Talked to the Center Director the day after incident & she didn't say a whole lot. I spoke about all the issues and I felt like I was talking to myself. I'm not sure if she did anything about the situation like maybe more training for her teachers etc. I explained she will never be coming back & they failed my daughter

Extremely high staff turnover, resulting in caregiver shortage and unqualified staff (not trained in childcare) taking care of the kids. Very disappointing and frustrating experience for parents and kids alike.

I highly recommend your kids NOT go here. Here's my story. Kinda long but worth it…read more I started off by putting my 3 y/o in this daycare center. Everything was going OK. No big concerns besides kids being bullies. Then I put my school age kids (2) in. Now I will admit my middle child has behavioral issues and that's where things took a turn. I started getting incident report after incident report after incident report. Mind you school age kids are mean. And I taught my kids to stick up for themselves. After months of explaining to the office staff (sylvia) and the director (Cynthia luna) the issues I was having hearing my school age kids tell me about abusive behavior the staff was portraying onto the kids. And my son telling me his teacher scares him and sqeezes his arms and legs, was the last straw with this place. After contacting the licensor, she had informed me to call cps and report the daycare facilty which i did. twice . In retaliation they terminated my daycare services. In the termination letter they mentioned i didnt provide the right milk for my son, which i have fought about before. If you are giving my son cheese and yogurt and in the meal plan it says milk then wheres the issue with milk. They mentioned my daughter and her poor behavior and if there was such a big issue than why didnt we exicute the behavioral plan they came up with and didn't even give her 8 days before terminating our care. Or even suggest i remove her and not all of my kids. termination is just easy to get rid of all istead of dealing with a parent who stands their ground. (Thats me) Lastly they mentioned since i reported them twice in less then 3 months they felt the need to terminate my care.now this one is not just cause for them to terminate anyones services. I have the right to report anything sispicious or wrong doing that my kids are telling me thats whats happening daily. The day they terminated me i recieved numerous pictures of my kids. From bruises to abrasions my kids caused themselves (besides what my son stated about his teachers) and another incident report. They then turned around and called cps on me in retaliation (according to the cps worker) which i agreed with. They made a report that my son had brusises all over his body including his ass. Cps has no findings and the case will be closed against me. So i repeat dont let your kids suffer in this place its not worth it. They dont like it when youre right. They dont like people to stick up for themselves. They dont like being reported which is every parents right to do so. dont waste your money. dont waste you time. Keep your kids safe and best interest at heart. Do not go here. FYI all college for kids are connected so the abuse extends to this facility as well.

This post is very late due to the open investigation I had against this day care facility…read more In the beginning of 2017 my child attended c4k and the very first week my child had been bitten twice. Once on the left arm and then on the right cheek. I brushed it off mostly because hey new kid in an already established day care I assumed this happens and upon given the incident report that ester r had explained this happens often with new kids. Being a first time mother I wanted to fish for advice amongst friends and even some of the other parents and they have also said sometimes it happens. However another 2 weeks go by and my 2 year old daughter has a scratch on her face. She 'fell' according to the incident report. Nothing else bad happened until about 6 months later there was an out break of foot, hands and mouth disease. The director ester r failed to comply with the CDC laws and post out side of each door to the facility a warning and also at risk to let us parents know about the outbreak. Not only did they not post or inform any of the parents via writing and or postings throughout the day care but my child had contracted hands mouth and feet disease. Not only did I have to pay out of pocket for her medical expenses but I also had to take off work due to the c4k failure to do their job. I reported to the CDC and to the child welfare of Washington this situation just so no other children or parents have to go thru what I did with my child being so sick she couldn't eat for 2 days! Fast forward to the open investigation 6 weeks later. I was called into ester r.'s office to tell me that they are terminating my child care due to me being hostile with their staff (complete bull by the way) I barely interacted with the staff unless it had to do with Kori being in trouble hurt and or sick. Not to mention the staff barely spoke english. That being said they discriminated against me because I had filed a report of their wrong doings and they just decided to terminate me as if I were in the wrong. I have never (they can prove) violated any of the rules for this day care facility) I would never recommend this place to any one and also they do not clean their toys or their rooms daily. Not sanitary! Also the day before they had terminated me and my daughter she had come home with a busted lip and not one staff person or ester could explain to me what happned to her lip not was there an incident report for the first time! Not ok!!! Please do your research and make sure you are choosing a place that cares about the well being of their children! And that had good and positive reviews! I did not look at yelp before choosing a day care and I will from here on out! Good luck all!

I have taken much time and pondered my thoughts extensively as it pertains to writing this review…read more Please know that it comes from a place of passion, hurt and confusion. This review will be extensively, but I urge you to read it in its entirety. Firstly, I want to say that my wife and I had high hopes for this school when enrolling our three-year-old daughter. My name is Gerry Gordon and I am writing and advocating for my wife and daughter who have been tremendously affected by the misconduct of Annie Wright schools. Secondly, I want to address that due to the numerous accounts of negligence and social injustice my daughter endured I am convinced there is no diversity inclusion training or awareness within the Lower school staff, before and after school staff and its counterparts. Why do I say these things? Here are the things my daughter had to endure in only a 6-month period. Not in any particular order. 1. My daughter got ill with the flu due to the Annie Wrights lack of communication. To expound on this topic, I received an email stating that my daughter was "out of sorts", lethargic and not herself. Still having trust in the educators and nurse at this point, my wife and I took their advice to "monitor" her and check for a fever. We asked their opinion if we should come and they said NO she doesn't have a fever. Mind you we were never called but emailed and who knows how long she was sick. Come to find out she was in the nurse's office for over an hour maybe more. Long story short, my daughter ends up with the flu because I decided to take her to the doctor because the next day she returned to school and got a fever. On multiple occasions, we have seen her outside in the cold without a jacket. WE WERE NEVER CALLED ONCE while she exhibited concerning health signs. The nurse and the teachers refused to call and said email their primary form of contacting parents, even after I BOLDY requested phone calls due to the nature of my job and my wife's schooling. My daughter getting the flu could have been avoided with better communication. Once we gave them the requested doctors note it was questioned by the nurse. There was a lack of empathy and most importantly again we were never called. 2. My daughter was walking around barefoot I'm not sure how long this took place because we were never told or notified. The school requires extra shows and socks and she has rainboots. There is no reason for my child to walk around school for who knows how long without any shows or socks on. Once again it was treated as a simple thing and hardly addressed. 3. My daughter told us she was hit by a door from one of the staff that works directly with her. This concerned us, and we always follow up with the staff when our daughter tells us something. This said the staff has treated my wife and very different when trying to communicate simple things like "good morning". She even said Bria didn't like her for some odd reason. When confronted about the door situation her response we "it was an accident". 4. My daughter went an entire day without eating lunch. This was the final straw for us. I picked my daughter up at 5 pm and the first thing she said to me was "Daddy I didn't eat lunch today". I was concerned but questioned her and she insisted she didn't eat. Upon arriving home, I checked her lunchbox to validate her claim and there was a sticky note on there from her ticker that read, "We still don't have power for our microwave... Likely not tomorrow as well. Thanks!! Mrs. Peterson". This is wrong on so many levels. We never received a phone call so that we could possibly provide another meal. There were so many options that were not explored for my daughter to eat. Heating the meal up in another class. Giving her the paid hot lunch, the school provides and so many others. Instead, her teacher gave her a graham cracker or two and let her watch all the other kids in the class eat their lunch because she was the only one that didn't get a feed that day. Mind you she is the only African American shouldn't in her class, so this is more than just negligence of a child but socially bias behavior. When confronted by my wife, the teacher showed a lack of empathy. She stated, "I didn't think it was that big of a deal". Once my wife explained her distaste for her lack of empathy, I clam but passionate way, the teacher began to weep and blamed it on her being pregnant. Please refer to photos for the rest of my review

The boarding program has introduced my kids to future leaders from around the world . My children have thrived here in the past but not now . The school is coping very poorly with the pandemic this January . They failed to reopen the high school divisions after Christmas in Jan 2021 due to Covid fears . All other HS schools in the area are in session . Remote schooling is terrible for the kids , for the vaccinated no school is far worse than the virus .
