jeffrey fixed me!!! last year while walking my dog i suffered an injury to my finger (jersey…read morefinger) which required surgery and, as a result, specific hand therapy. i was overjoyed when i found jeff at wellworks and received outstanding treatment over several months. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Jeffrey is amazing --knowledgeable, caring, patient, and just all around lovely and encouraging. my surgeon was super impressed with the progress i made due to my immediate and continued therapy. and a year on since the injury, i am able to use my hand nearly to full strength. so so glad i found him, and wellworks. i would be remiss if i also did not shout out marilyn (sp?) and the OT student (forget her name!) who also assisted me in my recovery. If you're looking for an OT who truly cares and goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Jeffrey and the entire WellWorks team. Five stars well deserved!

We had a bad experience with this business in the past. It was only one PT there and a part-time…read moresupport stuff. PT was not knowlegeable and made my right knee pain worse. Her one exercise was especially harmfull - she put all my body weight on this knee with a knee angle less than 90 degrees and without any support. After a few sessions my knee pain level increased and I stopped going. PT told me that she could never ever feel her own glute muscles to contract (?!). I never met anyone who could not learned or feel their glutes to contract. It is a big limitation, especially for a PT. How do you train patients to contract it then? Glute muscles contraction is extremely important to prevent injuries and in rehab. I was surprised that she choose PT field. Do not recommend.

AISHA has been wonderful, helping him develop his fine and gross motor skills, and LILA, our speech therapist, has been a true gem. She is incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable, and has made such a meaningful impact on his speech development. We're so grateful for the care and dedication they both provide. My only feedback would be regarding the administrative side, as communication and scheduling from the main office can sometimes be inconsistent. Once you have a dedicated therapist, I recommend working directly with them whenever possible. Despite the administrative hiccups, my son has had such a positive experience and his therapists truly care about him and his progress. We wish they accepted more insurances to continue on, but still very grateful for the time we've been with them. For that reason, I'm still very happy to give OT Studios 5 stars.

As a nurse myself I am critical when it comes to others providing for my healthcare needs while…read morehospitalized. I have no attachments to GAMC, with the exception I have very good doctors. By far GAMC is the worst hospital I have ever been too, they are for PROFIT only! Rude charge nurses and bedside nurses, on 2E a medical oncology floor they are insensitive, unprofessional, unskillful, patient safety is compromised. Never in my life have I've seen such bad actors. Nursing is a service driven profession, a noble profession, if you can't provide compassionate care and understanding than this inhumane nurses do not belong in healthcare. Perhaps, the hospital leadership would benefit sending this bad nurses to a culture sensitive class, it may improve their hospital's satisfaction scores. Shameful to have this types of non-caring nurses in healthcare.

Stay away when it comes to covid treatment. My mom passed away in this hospital. I highly believe…read moreif she was at a different hospital the result would have been different. They tried to put her on a ventilator 2 times and both times it was not necessary. One time her oxygen went to 86 while she was on her back. They called me saying they are prepping her to put her on the vent. Mommy called me crying she didn't want to be vented. I got them instead to put her on her stomach and within 20 minutes her oxygen was up to 94. Instead of trying to put her on the stomach they were eager to vent her. I and another doctor had to push them to come and and flip her on her stomach. It's just easier for the nurses and more money for the hospital if the person is on the vent. Another time a nurse had the nerve to call me and try and talk me into venting my mom. Meanwhile her oxygenation at that time was 96! Her oxygen mask had accidentally snapped off earlier in the day and they had to rush and save her and because of that they wanted to vent her again. And by the way, nurses are not allowed to call and talk family into doing something. Their job is to do the bidding of the family and doctors not what's easier for them! Do not believe them they are only thinking about what's easier for them and the mighty $$$. I will never forget my mother asking the nurse to help clean her nose (it was dripping) because she was too weak and couldn't move. The nurse flat out said no to her. I was on video call when this happened. Please do your research don't blindly trust this place. Always get second and third opinions. I will be placing a big complaint against this hospital!!!!

Our experience with this therapy provider was incredibly disappointing…read more From the beginning, scheduling was a struggle. It took an unreasonable amount of time to get an appointment, and our stated availability was repeatedly disregarded. When we finally secured a session, we were told the assigned therapist would be out for a week. Shortly after, we learned she had actually left the company entirely. We were then scheduled with Melissa the clinical manager. During that conversation, the provider recommended that the sessions take place at their facility. We clearly declined and explained that we wanted the initial session to occur in our home. After communicating that preference, the appointment was rescheduled. As parents, coordinating therapy appointments requires planning, adjusting work schedules, and arranging childcare. The repeated delays, staff turnover, poor communication, and last-minute scheduling changes showed a complete lack of respect for our time. What should have been a straightforward onboarding process turned into weeks of frustration. If reliability, organization, and communication are important to you, this was not our experience with this provider.

From the first time (evaluation) they were just so easy to work with, they were very clear about how long it would take for the referral process, to starting sessions. i have seen such a great improvement in my sons speech. I appreciate their patience with my son and with every child I have seen walk in . They communicate effectively and frequently to remind you of your appointment date and time. I would absolutely recommend this place they have changed my sons way of communicating and absolutely love all they staff.
