Overall, I enjoy the convenience, and I like that we're also wasting less food. I'm not wasting half my Sunday at Market Basket, cooking, food prepping, doing dishes, etc. I do wish they did a better job with packaging to make heating easier. They often will put sauces or condiments like cole slaw in a small container, but other cold items like lettuce are on top of everything and need to be picked out to heat the carb and protein underneath. I will say it is a newish company, so my expectations are lower than normal (I can be a tough customer at times). The couple of times that I contacted customer service, they did respond within minutes. Their website is not the best, and I have had the unfortunate experience of having to pick from identical menus a couple of times already, despite being a new customer. Everything is healthy, and you can pick between low calorie, balanced, or high protein versions of each menu, based on your nutritional needs. Please keep in mind that they are a new company and some of the calorie counts and macros may not be accurate. Also, there is no option to modify any meals with the exception of gluten free or dairy free meal options. I do enjoy that I am able to pick low calorie meals while my boyfriend can choose from the balanced menu. If you are looking to change up your diet, or just want a break from cooking some weeks, I would highly recommend this company. I absolutely am eating healthier and I love that I'm spending less money on food lately.

Most of the chicken dishes are made with what appears to be a lower quality dark meat, and the few white meat dishes had fibrous/stringy meat that had a "crunch" when chewed. Otherwise, I enjoyed the service, but as someone who needs to limit fat for health reasons but wants high protein, I didn't feel like I had a lot of options to avoid the chicken, and I was reluctant to try fish. Ultimately, I canceled after a few months of deliveries and not seeing a quality improvement. The service itself was otherwise smooth. I had no problems with delivery, in fact, they always followed my delivery instructions and sent texts before and after delivery. I thought the website and ordering platform are great too, and I had no issues there. Ultimately, I really wanted to love this service and am slightly deflated that I am writing this review. As a professional that works long hours and often weekends, I have no bandwidth to shop and cook. I loved the idea of a local meal delivery service that could provide me with fresh and healthy meals with good quality ingredients. I would gladly try this service again in the future if the ingredient quality improves, and if you aren't someone that eats chicken, I would definitely recommend the service.

My sister and I shared several appetizers, which together constituted a delicious meal for each of us. We ordered an appetizer called Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Ribs that came with four very meaty flavorful ribs.
