Ironically luck would have it, we broke down at the front door to the office at the Nashville I-24 Campground office. We were driving our 21-year-old Hummer H2, pulling a 24' travel trailer on what has been described as our last adventure. The husband-and-wife campground managers, Pam and Sam went out of the way to help us diagnose the mechanical problem with the Hummer's shift cable. They contacted the owner of the facility and apprised her of our situation, and she suggested that we spend the night in one of cabins for the night as opposed to spending the night in the trailer without being hooked up to sewer, water and electricity. We gladly accepted the offer to spend the night in the air-conditioned cabin. Pam personally moved our overnight belongings in their car to the cabin and Sam came back in the morning to assist us in finding a repair facility for our vehicle. We were humbled by Pam and Sam's overwhelming willingness to help us. Obviously, we were out of our comfort zone and a little rattled by the break down. We were assured that everything would be better the next day. The following morning Sam was available when the wrecker came to get our vehicle. Sam assured me that the repair facility was very competent and had worked on his vehicles in the past which was some comfort in this situation. We would highly recommend Nashville I-24 Campground to everyone. Stayed here for one night. The pluses are it's convenient with lots of restaurants and other businesses close by. But our campsite was very small and felt like we were camping in a parking lot. They gave us one of the "buddy sites "where we were facing the front of another RV. We had no fire ring and no picnic table. We met friends for dinner and so didn't spend the evening at the campsite, but if we had wanted to, we would've had nowhere to sit outside. Would not recommend. read more

I stayed here for just over a month and it was an ok stay. Aside from the 8 hours a day constant heavy construction noise from the city on the property and the WiFi going out making it impossible to watch tv, it was an ok stay. I would have felt better if I was told about the construction beforehand. The WiFi I asked several times to reset their routers but it never came back online. It was very frustrating. The staff is nice and the grounds are maintained decently. Lots of noise 24/7 is seemed like, especially since I was at the front of the park. Leaving a day early no mention was made about a partial refund... even in jest with the problems I mentioned. Would I stay again? Maybe..... lots and lots of choices especially if you're a Boondockers member. read more

We only stayed a few nights to rest on our trip north. Very friendly staff. The place was clean and quiet. It's quite a distance from Nashville, but I would recommend if you're needing a quiet and safe place to rest. The spaces are a little tight, but easy to get in and out of. read more

We have been for awhile. This campground is a safe and quiet place. The people are friendly. It is close to Nashville and there are plenty of restaurants and other businesses. It's also close to a hospital. Many travel nurses have stayed here. It's not a destination campground. But if you want a safe place to stay at a reasonable rate close to Nashville I would definitely recommend this campground. read more

This place is all about service, service, and service. I was so impressed by how they manage check-in and propane refills. We were escorted to our site by a gentleman on a golf cart and my refilled propane tank was returned to us by another gentleman on a golf cart. They did a great job keeping up with trash bins and had a nice laundry facility and bathrooms with showers. We didn't use the showers, but they looked nice enough to me. read more

We just stopped in for one night... Passing through on our way north. From the first greeting it was lovely. The park is very nice with trees! There are a lot of RVs but the people who work here are really really helpful! They made the whole evening lovely and worthwhile I'm so glad we stopped! read more

We stayed here for 9 nights. Most of the stay was nice. Lots of people coming and going. And then on night 6 it went bad. Fifth wheel arrived after dark and parked so close to us it wasn't funny. Park should have made them move over 5-6 feet. There were plenty of other sites for them to use. read more

Gave this campground 4 stars because it was easy on and off, plenty of shopping and gas stations were close. There were also many choices for food. The staff was welcoming and the grounds clean. I personally would not make this is a destination but when passing through would stop here again. read more

First off, if you're looking for a place with a water park, fishing ponds, etc, this is not it. But quite honestly, I don't know of one in the greater Nashville area. There is a pool to cool off in, and a small playground for the kids. Friday nights, there's live music and a food truck Now, let's get to what this park is. This park is clean, and well maintained. Do things break? Sure, but the crew lives on site and repairs get done quick. Plus owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Yes, the spaces are a little tight. That is partly because of the trees that provide lots of shade. Then again, you're here for what's around you. A $20 Lyft/Uber ride gets you downtown. (Note: That's what parking will likely cost you, and someone else gets to fight traffic). The bathrooms have been recently redone, at least the men's has. Its all tile, with large showers. The laundry room is fast and cheap - $2 for wash ($1.25) and dry ($0.75) and it only takes an hour. FYI, there are not a lot of washers or dryers, but at that pace its never a long wait. read more

It's a nice place. But here are a couple of head-bangers that Fluffy hopped into right away. First, as I turned in off the road I saw a sign indicating "this is not the entrance". So, I turned to the right which is the only other option. Lo, and behold, the sign is completely misleading. On top of that, there's no possible way to unscrew this unless you back into a congested area or do a 2-mile turn-around maneuver. Finally, when Fluffy (the customer) mentioned how confusing it was, the vendor offered some lame justification. OK, I'd let that slide. But I get to my site and the sewage connection is not reachable without 2 extensions. Even if I had 30 feet of hose, the cover was permanently mashed in place and practically unusable. 4 stars due to no cable. Other than that this RV park has evening you need. The parking spots are gravel and somewhat level. The bathhouse is clean and nice and cool in the summer time. At $37 a night for full hookups with 50amp it's not bad. Close to good shopping and quiet at night there are a few full timers but the park. Yes they do honor military discount. The internet and WiFi is slow but decent. I would stay here again. read more

Loved this last minute stop outside of Nashville. We were in a bind and needed something quickly and they were great to accommodate. Spots are a bit tight but clean and had everything needed. They also had several "extras" including live music on Fridays (lucky us!), clean bathhouses with great water pressure and a pool which the teenagers were thrilled about. Stayed here for 1 night. Based on reviews I expected less but it was really nice! Definitely older but most campgrounds are. We arrived late and our reservation wasn't out but someone was over to help me before I completed my call to the emergency #. He was super friendly and helpful, showed us to our site and everything. Nice large spots and very safe. Most reviews mention it's not a fancy destination place but they do have a nice pool and playground. Our kids enjoyed it and we felt very safe. No complaints! Yes the entrance is 1 way but is well marked, not sure why the earlier review had a hard time with it. Also had a picnic table, trash can with bag, and fire ring. read more

I24 is NOT a destination RV park. It is a safe place to stay while visiting the local area. We have family in the area and have been going to I24 for years. If you are looking for a pool, and other fun activities, I24 ain't it. It does have a nice small play area for the grandkids. It has continually improved the condition of the parking spots and the park as a whole since the present owners bought it. There is also the issue of no other acceptable park south of Nashville, along either the I65 or I24 corridors. We will continue to stay at I24 when in the area in our 40 foot motorhome. We've stayed here several times. Campground is always clean. They have a pool and a dog park. The first time we stayed they had a live band and a food truck on Friday night. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Spots are pretty close together but the park is very quiet. Very convenient to Nashville. read more

We did not like this place at all! It was very run down, live in all over the place, that look like they've been there for 30 years. Neighbors were two feet from us. No grassy areas whatsoever. if this is a good Sam approved facility, one must question good Sams standards. I would rather have parked at Walmart, I would have felt safer. This was one step below trailer park living. read more

Not impressed but it's a step above a Walmart parking lot. Sites are very compact with minimal space, no grass, gate to gate gravel. Wifi is available but barely works. Here for work and stayed here for the free wifi but it's too slow to get any work done. read more

great place, me and my kid LOVE IT, very safe,good upkeep, maintenance, plenty of trees, and grass areas, nice swimming pool, pavilion where they have different events, and BBQ's, nice playgrounds for kids with slides,swings etc... laundry room, clean showers, community room with big screen TV, pool table, table soccer etc... very friendly staff ...pet friendly place... can't ask for more... would recommend this campgrounds to anyone...
