You can somewhat see the hill but you can't see the tight corner

Note: if you have a large 5th wheel or MH, be very careful which spot you select to stay in. We were in the 100s at the top of a very steep hill (not shown on the park map). We could barely get our 40 footer in the spot. And, we watched a fifth wheel possibly break out his rear truck window trying to make the corner. It is a nice, clean campground on the lake (with live music on Saturday night) but very expensive so be prepared to pay for a site you can fit in (and call to confirm - they all look the same online!)

We stayed here for a week when I had to spend time in Nashville for a medical issue. They had excellent procedures in place regarding COVID; for example we kept the pen used for check-in & the person at check-in was in the office while we stood outside with plexiglass in between. The sites are all concrete pads with nice fire pits & they all have beautiful views of the reservoir. The entire area is well cared for & very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again.

What a beautiful RV park. My family and I visited from phoenix. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have daily trash pick up if needed. The site we had on the peninsula was spacious and well kept. It was just a short walk to the water where you can fish and enjoy the view. The RV park was pretty close to Nashville attractions and dining. For an overnight or extended stay Elm hill has a spot for you.

We stumbled across this gem of a RV resort by accident--it was the closest to Franklin where we were visiting family. We really enjoyed the amazing views of the lake, the fairly quiet family atmosphere, and how clean and fresh everything felt. Staff was friendly and helpful. The spaces are close together, but the lake views are worth it! Full hook ups, propane refills on site, clean bath houses, laundry, pool (seasonally), and outdoor games.

Expensive at $120 a night 38' 5th wheel fine to get in. Tight sites standard. You have back area near lane which helps. Full hookup Playground Pool Shower house was okay. Beautiful setting, nicely landscaped. Dog poop stations were great, no land mines found Lake rentals and trolly nearby Very safe My kids on the playground (playing) seemed somewhat out of place and seemed louder because of how quiet it was. I was more conscious of this due to fancier setting.. lol Lots of retiree types and very quiet which was nice Lots of rules but reasonable and actually save for kids to ride bikes except for one person who was clearly going past 10mph Could not find gate number to get into pool, may have been the same as to get into park but it would be great if they could clarify. Will ask if we go again. Would come back. Great place for family and big rig.

Note: we visited Elm Hill for day use picnic spot during a short vacation to Nashville and were so happy we did... beautiful, relaxing spot on the lake with plenty of shade in hot weather. We drove our car (15 minutes from our Airbnb -so close!) and paid $8.00 entrance fee. Parked where an attendant noted was for those without boat trailers. Walked maybe 5 minutes and found a spot in the shade right on the water. There were plenty of open picnic tables 30 feet from the water, but we brought our own chairs so we sat right by the water. You'll need to pack in your own food and drink. We debated giving this place a 4 or 5 as we would have loved a sandy beach, but we decided that the geography shouldn't pull the rating down. Be careful wading into the water as the large rocks can be slippery.

Great location, terrible customer service. They have some nerve calling themselves a resort. Would not recommend and would not stay again.

We made our reservation through www.recreation.gov (military affiliation not required), and only a few sites were unreserved. Even on a weekday in April, it's a popular place! There are roughly 60 sites, all with electricity and water but not sewer hook-ups at the sites. (there is a separate shared dump station). Prices range from $28-$32 with the more expensive sites being those that are waterfront (if you're lucky enough to snag one!) A discount is available for National Park Service Interagency Senior Lifetime Pass-holders. What's to like? Well-maintained, clean campground. In fact, you're given a trash bag upon arrival to encourage you to keep your site clean. On-site fun, including swimming and boating on the lake, as well as a playground. Friendly and helpful staff. Kudos to the gentleman at the Attendant Booth. A bathhouse with showers and laundry facilities. Benches with a water view to enjoy the sunsets. Some pull-through campsites. Good security. The gate is locked each night from 10 pm-6 am (although we were informed how to enter/exit if we needed to). Reasonable price. Also, Nashville is within 30 minutes. And, what's not to like? We were informed that skunks frequent the area, so you need to store food in approved containers. (We didn't see or smell any). We experienced high winds during our visit, so boating and/or swimming were out of the question. Also, Wi-Fi is not provided at this campground.

The smell is horrendous, at first I just thought ok they need to repair something.. but it's been like this for the past several years now!! Each year it's the same thing! On a windy day, trying to lay out or eat by the wave pool is a consistent smell of sh-t! Another thing is you want to charge the high prices for food, I get it.. but please have some type of management looking after the concessions, more so the people working them! Waiting in line as long as you do is ridiculous! There seems to be extra people working behind the counter but you might only have 1,2 out of 7 actually working, and then the sense of urgency is definitely not there! They need management to manage the employees

We were driving our 21-year-old Hummer H2, pulling a 24' travel trailer on what has been described as our last adventure. The husband-and-wife campground managers, Pam and Sam went out of the way to help us diagnose the mechanical problem with the Hummer's shift cable. They contacted the owner of the facility and apprised her of our situation, and she suggested that we spend the night in one of cabins for the night as opposed to spending the night in the trailer without being hooked up to sewer, water and electricity. We gladly accepted the offer to spend the night in the air-conditioned cabin. Pam personally moved our overnight belongings in their car to the cabin and Sam came back in the morning to assist us in finding a repair facility for our vehicle. We were humbled by Pam and Sam's overwhelming willingness to help us. Obviously, we were out of our comfort zone and a little rattled by the break down. We were assured that everything would be better the next day. The following morning Sam was available when the wrecker came to get our vehicle. Sam assured me that the repair facility was very competent and had worked on his vehicles in the past which was some comfort in this situation. We would highly recommend Nashville I-24 Campground to everyone. The staff is amazing down-to-earth people and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home in a friendly and caring environment Sincerely, Alan DeLee
