After my sister said that they could do this they told her it would be $520.00 to do so. At the time my sister wasn't thinking clearly, I mean after all we had just lost our mother and she also was dealing with some medical issues, so she agreed. We thought that would be the end of it. IRS came back saying they needed a copy of her death certificate, now you would have thought that the CPA would have know this was a requirement and told us this so that we could have provided it before the tax forms were submitted. Now they want an additional $320.00 to send IRS a copy of the death certificate. I would understand if this was some complicated extensive tax return but it's not. My mother's only income was social security and she owned nothing, so needless to say she isn't getting a whole lot back. By the time we pay these exorbitant fees there will be nothing left of the funds returned, which I'm guessing is their whole objective. So buyer beware this company is very unethical I my opinion and I would stay far far away from them.
