I have purchased Latisse from Heaven and Earth once before. I ran out recently and checked their…read morewebsite for their phone number and saw that they were currently running a special for buy one, get one free and I thought what a great deal. Of course when I saw this, it was on a Saturday and since they are hardly ever open I could not contact them. I live and work far away from them so I sent them a email asking if I could give them my credit card over the phone to purchase and have them ship it to me. By late afternoon on Tuesday, no-one had responded to my email so I had decided to call. I called, gave them all of my info and told them that I may be by to pick it up within the next day or so but if I could not I would call back and have them ship it to me. I called two days later and asked them to ship it and I gave them the shipping address, I re-confirmed the shipping amount and that was it. I am thinking to myself that since I confirmed the shipping amount with the receptionist and the fact that I just purchased this product with ALL of my information over the phone two days prior that there should be no problem! WRONG! About a week goes by and I call back to ask "where is my package?" and the girl tells me that they had NONE of my information to contact me with and could not ship my package because they did not receive "payment" for shipping. And they were just waiting for me to call them! How in the world do you charge someone for a expensive product like Latisse and not have that persons information in the system? Not too mention, I paid by Credit Card OVER THE PHONE!?! So again, how do you not have my information? Not even a phone number to call me back on? And if that was the case, why did the girl not ask me for that information over the phone when I asked for it to be shipped and gave her the shipping address? She could have at least checked the caller ID for my phone number? If it was not for the buy one get one free deal, I would have just got my money back. I had to go all the way down there to retrieve my package. If the front desk is seriously that Incompetent, I would not trust them with any medi-spa services! I will never purchase anything here again!

I'd never gotten a professional massage before, and was nervous about my first time experience. I…read morecan't remember how I found Body-Mend Therapies, I think it was just a google search and liking how their website looked. I am GLAD for that! Going in, my two concerns were a) getting naked in front of a stranger and b) hoping I wasn't too heavy for the massage table. Neither of these ended up being issues with Body-Mend, which allows you to speak with your massage therapist before getting into it so you can communicate your levels of comfort and expectations. And their table was very solid, with steel legs, so that wasn't an issue either. I scheduled my massage about a month out -- but that was only because I was looking for a specific time-frame after I got off of work. There seemed to be more openings if you wanted to be seen during "standard" work hours. When I arrived to the building, it was a little confusing trying to figure out which doorway led to their offices, but the lobby is pretty and the doors are well-labeled when you're close enough to read the papers on them. My appointment was with Jason. When I clarified that I had no idea what I was doing and that it was my first professional massage ever, he did an amazing job of being communicative. I filled in a short (and easy) questionnaire, and then Jason started a discussion about what I was looking for, if I had any trouble areas that I wanted to focus on, etc. Instead of opting for the "traditional massage" ("like what you've seen in movies"), my mention of shoulder and lower back issues prompted Jason to recommend treatment that would especially focus on those. The room was comfortable and clean, both of us were masked the entire time, and there was hand sanitizer readily available. At no point did I feel unsafe, and that was a relief with COVID practices differing from business to business. For the entirety of my hour-long massage, Jason was communicative about what he was doing and why, and his instructions were clear and easy to understand. I got a lot of affirmation from him with various movements, which made the loosening and moving of muscles feel even more productive. I helped do that! He also made a point to check in regularly throughout the process to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable or in pain. At the end of it, when I stood up, I felt like I had a new center of gravity because of all the drastic changes that had been made in such a short time. I also felt so much looser and relaxed (Jason used the word "gooey" which is a very apt descriptor)! He gave me "aftercare" instructions to walk around for a few minutes before getting back into my car and driving home so that my body would have more of a chance to adapt to new alignments before being tempted to melt back into the sitting issues I'd come in with. It's the next day, and I'm a little sore from the adjustments that were made, but it's a good soreness -- like my body knows that I was trying to help it along, haha. I'm not uncomfortable at all, and still feel very loose. All in all, I'd highly recommend Jason for massage therapy -- he's an excellent communicator, very professional and knowledgeable, and generally GOOD at what he does! I'm excited to try acupuncture with his wife (and co-worker) Jennifer sometime!

From the first phone call, the front desk staff made it easy to "enroll" as a new patient by explaining the process and having me fill in paperwork beforehand. By the time I got to the office, I had a few more things to sign, but was only in the waiting room for a few minutes before I was brought back to an exam room with a physical therapist to take my vitals. I saw Dr. Green, and she made me feel at ease as soon as she entered the exam room. I'm used to medical practitioners dismissing my concerns because of my weight and telling me that losing weight is the number one most important thing, but Dr. Green dismissed MY "I know my back pain is likely related to my being overweight" comment and reassured me that she was more concerned about figuring out where my pain was coming from and helping me to correct it. All she had to do was look at my back and do a little prodding and she immediately discerned that my left hip is higher than my right and that push/pull was a major factor in my discomfort. She took me into another room, where I laid on the table while she manipulated my back and my hips. During the entire process, the explained clearly what she was going to do, how it was going to feel, and reassured me about any scary noises from my body or the table (some adjustments can be LOUD!). When I stood up a few minutes later, I felt like a new person. Dr. Green listed off a few stretches that she'd "prescribe" for me, and then I was led to the rehab room to do stretches with a physical therapist. I wish I'd gotten her name ‍, but like Dr. Green, she was very informative and kept me updated each step of the way. I was taught a number of stretches I could do at home to help with my discomfort, and even given handouts with visuals of everything. My physical therapist walked me through everything, stretching me there in the office, and even had me demonstrate the stretches back to her to be sure that I would be doing them correctly at home. The front desk staff was also very helpful. They scheduled me for a follow-up appointment quickly, gave me an explanation of what my insurance would be covering, processed my co-pay, and had me out the door in a matter of minutes. The entire process of walking through the front door to walking back out took about an hour and fifteen minutes, and during the entire time all of the staff was masked, usually with gloves, and I saw cleaning and decontamination happening between patients (even smaller details like wiping down pens and iPads before/after they changed hands). This was such an awesome experience, and a day later I'm still feeling good (albeit a little sore, which Dr. Green had warned me about, but she also gave me tips on what I could do to ease that pain if it got to be too much). I have another appointment next week and I'm already excited to go back. If more people had experiences like this with chiropractors, I don't see how anyone could pass on an opportunity to better their health with them!
