However, I always seem to have some issue when I come here. This time, we checked in to our room (room 217) and you notice the charming canopy bed and the lovely decorations. The room has a small veranda that overlooks the hotel's swimming pool and the ocean beyond. Then I noticed the mirror: it looked like somebody had sneezed on it, so I went to the front desk and asked that the chambermaid clean the mirror. Simple request (you'd think). We went out to lunch, and when we came back, the mirror was still dirty. On our way out a little later, I asked why the chambermaid hadn't been up to the room. The gentleman working at the reception told me that she had been up, but she "determined" that it didn't need to be cleaned--the mirror just had black spots because it was old. I told him I wasn't talking about the black spots, but rather the spittle that was on it. By the time we'd left, the mirror remained dirty. Since when do the chambermaids make executive decisions about whether to clean something a guest requested? Why couldn't they just clean the mirror? I'll probably be back because I really like the restaurant in the hotel, but why can't they seem to get their act together?

Amazing rooms; not top notch but it was alright. Food was good but the breakfast was mediocre. during dinner there was music but it was a bit too loud. otherwise, it was great!

Sundays were amazingly fantastic for whatever reason, don't know why! Albergue is also a creperia or place that make fresh crepes. Fruit, chocolate, meat, every kind you can think of. They also have a full bar with some of the best Caipirinhas In town. The staff is top notch and speak English if you don't speak portuguese (learn portuguese!). The dorms are comfortable and spacious with large lockers and personal bathrooms. The best part is the atmosphere and the people you meet of coarse. No doubt about it albergue da costa is the best hostel in Natal.

The hotel opened in 2019, but had to shut down during the beginning of the pandemic panic. The hotel is reasonably priced, considering the quality (about $200 per night). Breakfast and dinner are included. Staff are very professional and helpful. At check-in, you are greeted with a welcome glass of champagne (the good stuff). It is located right on the beach. Our room (708) was large, with a queen-sized bed and a single. It also had an ample veranda. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the sheets. The minibar in the room was stocked with a small bottle of Veuve Cliquot and there was eve a half-bottle of Jack Daniels in the room. Breakfast was nice, and while I didn't eat dinner here, I did stop in to see what they were offering and there were many choices, including shrimp, beef, chicken and many more options. The hotel's restaurants (there are two) have a large wine list, although the prices are a bit high. There are several swimming pools of varying sizes, so they don't ever seem crowded. The hotel has large opulent open spaces throughout--it really is a beautiful hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will hopefully be coming back again soon.

The room for one person came with a double kingsize bed which was kind of ridiculous because it was far wider than it was tall. The view from the 7th floor was awesome, overlooking the huge resort pool and the kiddie play area. Although the sliding glass doors were difficult to open and shut and came off the track easily. We even saw a bird grab a tiny crab from the planter boxes on the patio, so nature does come to your window. The bathroom came with a full shower and tub, which is nice when you just want a bath. They had the basic bathroom amenities: shampoo, bath gel, conditioner, lotion, shower cap and soap. The small fridge had some sodas, water and kids box drinks in it, which was free and restocked once a day (it costs if you want more). There were several restaurants to chose from which were buffets. You are allowed to make a limited number of reservations at a sit-down restaurant and order a la carte (depending on how long your stay is). At night they had a local NGO kids group perform some capoeira. After they did their demonstration, they got the audience to participate. The front desk also offers tours for day trips.

It was about a block or two away (5-7 min walk) from a shopping mall and many restaurants. There is a bus stop and many taxis in front of the shopping mall, so everything you would need is in close distance. The pousada (equivalent to an inn, or B&B) is secure, there is a locked gate to get in, and has 24 hour security. Once inside the gate, the front office is there with an employee always present. Everyone was very very friendly and it was great to meet the different people and talk with them. The building is U shaped and wraps around a yard you can relax in, with a pool. There are two floors, and our room was upstairs. We had a room with 3 beds in it, which was large enough for the 3 of us. Simple yet comfortable. As with most places in Brasil, breakfast was included with the room. Downstairs is the kitchen area and tables to eat. The breakfast buffet was really good. There were lots to choose from, and everything freshly made. The staff was actually really nice and let us cook and use the kitchen the night before, so I saw the handwritten recipe book they use to cook all the delicious food. If I ever find my way back to Natal, I would not hesitate to stay here again. I can't think of a negative thing to say about it.

WiFi is spotty...everyday me and the fellow guests would try a variety of tricks to hop on the world wide web. Customer Service was fantastic, and the restaurant actually has pretty good food (breakfast each day was spot on).
