If it was good, I would have totally come back esp since it's super close to my house. 1. First, they never really spoke to me. Spoke to the other hairdressers in Cantonese (again, not realizing that I understood). 2. I didn't realize the same person was going to do my hair and nails, so while my hair was getting my deep conditioning "treatment", she rushed through my manicure as fast as possible, doing a TERRIBLE job. Ruined cuticules, hangnails afterward, bubbles in the polish .. it was worse than doing it myself at home. 3. MAJOR upsell - I was asked at least 3 times if I wanted a haircut at 20% off. 4. I was insulted by the hairdresser TWICE while getting my hair dried. Basically told me I NEEDED the straightening treatment, and said that she knew I had a haircut recently but that it was done badly. If these people realized that better service = repeat customers, maybe they would get a better rating overall.

I had completed my trial run with another makeup artist and was so excited for my wedding. Then 10…read moredays before my wedding she cancelled on me and wished me luck finding another makeup artist for my wedding - eek! I emailed every makeup artist I could find in the area, frantically trying to find someone. Ashely saved me from despair when she messaged me back very quickly, although she was out of the country. She was responsive to emails and we quickly got the contract signed. She was unavailable, but informed me that her assistant, Megan, would be available. Megan was early for the trial and came to me at the hotel (the day before the wedding, as that's the only time I was available). She did an excellent job and was super receptive to feedback! She arrived early again the following day and set up while I was getting my hair done. She did an absolutely EXTRAORDINARY job on my makeup. She integrated all of my feedback from the trial (all personal preference, I just didn't want any eyeliner) and I felt beautiful, but still natural. The makeup stayed on all night, which was amazing! She also provided me with a cute touchup kit, Ashley had picked out a lip color for me - which was PERFECT (based on the photo I sent, which I wanted duplicated, from my previous trial run with the other makeup artist). She also included lip gloss, cotton swabs, etc. I am just so happy that things worked out the way they did so I was able to have Megan do my makeup for my wedding day. I would definitely highly recommend Love Beauty for anyone's wedding makeup needs (and any other event for that matter). THANK YOU SO MUCH MEGAN AND ASHLEY - YOU'RE BOTH AMAZING!

She and her assistant (Julie) did an amazing job! They were very helpful and ensured that everyone got what they were expecting --- if not more! Everyone they did received a lot of compliments. They also ensured it was a safe space for everyone during the makeup session -- there was no feeling of insecurity and uncertainty. I love the little goody touch up bag she gave me after doing my touch up -- and I didn't know that she also gave one to my daughter, it was so sweet of her. Also, she offered to fix up my hair after the ceremony (as it was probably a mess with the rain and the little hike we did) even though she wasn't the one that did my hair -- that was very thoughtful and sweet of her. She really did go an extra step with her services!!! Natacha also did our ceremony and we loved every bit of it. She made the time to meet us days before the wedding. We are so grateful that she took the time to meet with us days before the wedding -- as we are not from British Columbia, that meant a lot to us. Throughout the process (from beginning to the end) the connection and communication was great! She took the time to get to know us and our story. We also love the fact that she made our wedding vows extra special by painting a card of the venue -- for keepsake. It turned out beautifully! It was a destination wedding so no trial which had me a little anxious but I showed her two pictures of what I wanted to make up and hair and then bam, I was madeover and felt fabulous! Also, at 12 hours after the team did my hair and make up, my curls were still intact and my make up only needed blotting, one powder retouch and a gloss after eating. No concealer creasing, no brow fading, I was thrilled. It was exactly what I wanted and also they were just fabulous additions to our day as we spent the whole morning with the bridal party. I highly recommend!
