And since I PAID OUT OF POCKET in 2023 for the exam they should cover it. He was beyond rude and said no I cannot give you an appt. because it's not covered. Like who the HELL is he to tell me what is covered and what isn't. I asked to speak to office staff he says NO. I said I have been going to Dr. Martin for 8 years and I need to make an appt. He says (mind you this is June 2024) that there are no appts. until next year and hung up.....OK so I decided to take it a step further. I wrote a personal and confidential note to Dr. Martin explaining what happened and how disappointed I was that I could no longer go to her because I was not allowed to make an appt. with her office without going through the red tape in Calcutta, India......Of course she never answered me either. She is just part of the CAMPUS now.....which is Summit Medical CORPORATE that now owns their staff. They are instructed to see one patient every 10 minutes whether they like it or not...Very sad that this is what doctors will do for a paycheck. No longer about you or me, more about the $$$$ at the end of the day. Well Good Luck with that! Found a new doctor and asked if he was part of Summit Medical Group...his response "HELL NO".

To add insult to injury, today, I received a letter from his office stating that I was "inappropriate" with his office staff. I asked the doctor to call me to discuss his manager's attitude toward me, before he sent the letter. I still have not heard from him. Do not waste your time with this guy. It's not worth your time and aggravation to deal with people who treat you like crap.

My mother had to call 911 a week following a gallbladder surgery. Dr. Gudz returned to my Saturday night (wouldn't you know it!) call within minutes. Finally, after days of a chest cold and having no intent of driving into the City I broke down and went to see Dr. Aasmaa. I am now a believer! First of all, they had an appointment available next day which was great. Secondly, the front office staff was so pleasant and helpful I thought I died (pun intended) and went to medical heaven. The icing cake was Dr. Aasmaa herself. She was knowledgeable, patient and quite the listener. I needed a prescription renewal and it was approved immediately for the mail in drug company.
