I never get "too busy" feeling taking my calls and questions, and she answers them quickly. I like that the firm has lawyers that specialize in different areas. This means they don't charge you for someone to go learn a new subject. They go ask the team member that knows the legal answer already. Great team!

Complex real estate transactions seem to be his specialty. He is somewhat like watching a genius at work: at the start you think that what he has proposed is impossible but decide to give him a chance and in the end everything works out as he projected. Thanks to Mr. Krell, we now own a place for about 1/3 of what it would have cost us otherwise.

Within the first two weeks of having hired this Law Firm, it was apparent that Michael Kleps had…read moredifficulty answering questions but said he could help me right away if I paid an additional 20%. Which I did. But I would email questions and not get answers and have to resend the same question and get charged again. At a time when the only reason I'm seeking their assistance is due to the death of a loved one, I expected there to be at least some kindness and helpfulness extended. There never was. I would email the same question two and three times and never get an answer, but always got corresponding charges. I started looking my questions up on the internet. Things we're at a stand still for a while, as I sold property and then needed Michael's help to finish up. Again, he would not answer questions I emailed and I even remembered asking him those questions a year earlier when this first began. He complained that my bill was high because of my constant emails. I advised him that the emails were repetitive questions. I couldn't believe that he wasn't aware of this, but now I'm certain that he was very aware of what he was doing. He was nickel-and-diming the estate and finally I had to speak with his Superior who at first refused to speak with me. When I sent him an email expressing my displeasure that he even refused to speak with me and that there was no recourse he answered and said, Michael told him that he was able to handle the situation but he knew good and well then that Michael was not handling the situation because I had sent him as a heads-up, particular documents, also complaining that Michael would not answer questions. I had to speak with his boss two times. I ended up paying twice as much as what I read online a probate should cost and we hadn't even gotten into the difficult work, when the costs would really rise. We started working on, what would he called, the Financial Statement, where he refused to include my wages as part of the financial statement. He had assigned a secretary to work with me to try to prove that I was receiving a fair payment for my work but after disbursements were made between beneficiaries, there was no money left to pay my wages. He refused 6 times to include my wages in the financial statement, all the while charging me for this repetitive work of six times, which finally pushed me to firing the law firm of Carmichael Clark. Michael had tried to get me to drop him but since I am out of state, I did not want the difficulty of trying to find another attorney but he forced me into a position of having to fire him, which now I see so clearly why he wanted me to fire him. He never told me that being out of state, I was required to have an agent. He said that I could easily finish it on my own, but Washington law does not allow for that, which I did not know and Michael knew that I did not know that. There is so much more I could say but you get the general idea. I strongly urge anyone to look for other representation. They are only interested in nickel-and-diming the client and not doing any work for it.
