I just had my first visit here and I'm so pleased at how smooth it went. At first i was like "this…read moreis weird" because he is young and longer haired and has one exam room. However now I'm realizing the benefit of having a doctor who has the time to ask you a bunch of questions and he actually listens to the answer. Getting referrals and scripts was really easy, which is something i used to have trouble with from my previous PD. I'm really so happy with my experience there.

Every time I go in, he takes his time, asks me lots of questions and really cares for his patients. I cannot say enough good things about this doc. Also, he has an online portal system that is very handy and convenient where you can make appointments, pay bills and access your records. There is no information given to the patient about whether they are having a screening mammogram or a diagnostic mammogram. If they decide that you need a diagnostic mammogram, they'll probably reschedule you, because the radiologists are rarely there to do a diagnostic mammogram. Which begs the question: Who's reading the other mammograms? No answer when that question is asked, in fact, the Radiologist technician was very uninformative, and wouldn't even provide a phone number for the follow-up care, which was across town and was supposed to be to discuss the results of the mammogram. The receptionist was very polite and friendly, but she's new and will probably leave soon. I'd head to a center that actually has radiologists in the building.

I waited at least 6 months to get this appointment and Tina, Receptionist, was well aware of the circumstances. On the morning of the appointment, only 2 hours before our slotted time, Tina called to cancel and stated the Dr. "has to leave early for an emergency". Now, I wasn't happy but realize emergencies happen and asked to be seen by someone else in the office OR get in earlier before the Dr. left ... really anything to accommodate the Dr. note: I was changing Doctor's so my Aunt could be closer as she does not do well travelling any distance. Her prescriptions were expiring and it is critical that we were seen by a Dr to renew the scrips. Tina stated there was nothing they could do and I could not get in at all that day. I reiterated that I was flying back across country the next morning and could not come later that week. At this point, Tina became rude and essentially stated "there's nothing we can do for you and I'm ending this conversation". I am still in disbelief I was treated this way and this office jeopardizing the medical care of an elderly woman. This is absolutely unacceptable and egregious. I would stay far, far away as I would question the level of care and responsibility for any provider that would think this is acceptable. I am reporting to the Better Business Bureau.
