He also lacked accountability in getting the job done by taking 4 days out of my schedule over a period of one week, and showing up late, or leaving early or not arriving at all but having me still wait for his arrival, as he didnt pick up the phone when I called. He finally called at end of day to say he would try next day instead of giving me ample time and notice. In communication with him, he tried to shut me down several times by interrupting me, talking over me, manipulated the job time table on several occasions and literally said to me that "it is his determination," not mine. Still hasn't finished the work!

The cedar fence Jim installed is a faithful replica of the original and is exactly what I wanted. But Jim's ability to repair my pressure-treated stockade fence, which was significantly damaged by hurricane winds, demonstrates his skillful craftsmanship. If I didn't know which part of the fence had been literally blown apart, I wouldn't be able to pick out the repaired section. Jim also strengthened and stabilized the remaining 5 sections. One of the worst businesses I have worked with in Rhode Island. Ordered decorative white marble…read morefor a backyard project from Earth Products, delivery came completed contaminated with stone dust. After initially defecting blame and trying to tell me that this level of dust was expected, the manager finally went and checked their own pile at the business to discover it was also a bad batch. He then wanted me to use what I could of the stone ("even under your planters if you can"... exact words from the manager) to save them from having to haul it back. He committed to calling back in two days once he could work with the quarry to get the stone replaced. A week later (and no phone calls) I call back to get more excuses about the quarry and more changing stories about whos fault it is (never theirs). After more dragging their feet they finally came to pickup the bad stone, only to trespass into my backyard and take photos. refuse to refund the stone I buried because they don't like the bad review I left. Follow up: The business had their delivery driver illegally break into my back yard and take photos to try to "prove" the stone was ok, not even understanding I already purchased replacement stone from Lowes. These guys are old school RI shady, DONT USE THEM. Plenty of other way options without the terrible customer service or awful quality products.
