If you shop here regularly it is well worth becoming a member as 20% on pharmacy items soon adds up to some great savings. I do most of my cosmetic shopping here because of the Revlon Card. As well as my 20% off, I also get my 6th item from Revlon for free - Savvy eh!

Aldgate Pharmacy accepts health care cards and you can opt for a cheaper generic brand of medicine here, which I think is fantastic. The pharmacists are always quick to give you any information you may need and prescriptions never take very long even when they say you may have to wait a while. What else can you say about a chemist really, it is what it is and I feel comfortable here.

In fact, you get 20% off everything here with Health Partners. There are actually a few different makeup products here and they often have specials. But, I don't really buy much more than Napoleon though. As for the pharmacy part, the staff here are friendly. I have never really had to wait for long. And I haven't received any stink eye if I ask for cold and flu tablets from behind the counter. You know what I am talking about. It's conveniently located near Foodland and other shops. So, you can do a round of shopping for all your needs.

Before I know it I've bought a bunch of stuff I never intended on getting and don't really need. Priceline Pharmacy knows this, and works to my weaknesses, with a range of personal supplies, makeup, haircare, dyes, moisturisers and cute things galore to browse. While I can't speak about the pharmacy itself, I can tell you they've got a good selection of all the other stuff, with the likes of Revlon, Rimmel, Maybelline and other counter makeup brands, as well as a pretty good range of hair care - perhaps the biggest range on the Parade, with decent prices too. Plus, there are always enough staff to help out and at the counters, and the opening hours are really good by Adelaide standards. A great addition to the Parade!

There's a wide variety of perfumes, make-up products, skin products, weight loss products, soothing creams, anti-rash creams, and a huge selection of medications. You want it, they got it. That should be their motto. Maybe it is there motto? It's probably not. Let's get back to the story. The store is small but is surprisingly well stocked, it really does have everything and plenty of it. If you don't know what you want but you know what you need the staff will know how to help you. They provide such great customer service and you can tell that they're passionate about what they do.

It's just easy to be able to get your scripts as soon as you leave the doctors so you don't have to stop again on the way home. In addition they will even match the discount I would normally get at National Pharmacies with my member card. It is a smaller pharmacy but I have always managed to get what I needed there and like I said - convenience is the number one drawcard!

Do they think you're shoplifting or something? The same was very tight-lipped and silent when I picked up my script and attempted conversation. I can only assume it's snobbery and I do not appreciate being at the lower end of a two-tier customer service status system. The Terry White…read moreChemist on Marion Road at Marion isn't my local chemist but I stopped by with a friend recently who needed to fill a prescription and discovered that this is one hell of a first rate pharmacy. When it came to filling the prescription, the service was friendly and prompt. We were told there would be a 10 minute wait but I really don't think we waited longer than 5 minutes. In addition to their normal dispensary they had a Compounding Pharmacy. This was a sterile area with a window open to public viewing where a trained pharmacist mixed lotions and potions to create tailor made medicines. Apparently they can make medications for people as well as animals! The Compounding Pharmacy is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm but you can leave your prescription at the main pharmacy desk during their extended hours of 7 days a week between 8.30am and 9pm (except Sunday mornings when they open at 9am) While we were waiting for my friend's prescription to be filled we actually had a play with their in store blood pressure monitor. Good fun and interesting but be careful how tightly you put the testing device around your arm because it gets tighter and tighter as it measures you're blood pressure. This chemist has a great range of gifts and cards if you're looking for a last minute present and everything else is closed. There's perfume, makeup, baby products, and the usual chemist fare on offer. They also offer other services like prescription delivery in the local area and a fast refill service if you're having a repeat filled. Just leave your script on file and ring ahead. See what I mean ... great chemist!
