Since their relocation and change to a "furniture & antiquities store," they've gone downhill. First, they only have a few true antiques scattered around the store, and the majority of them aren't for sale. If they are for sale, they are overpriced. They were asking $35 for one mass-produced magazine from the 1930s that isn't even worth $5 seeing as to how it was in awful condition, and it's an easily attainable magazine. Second, I was standing at one of their showcases for 10 minutes before any of the staff came to assist me, despite them both making eye contact with me multiple times. A once great antique mall has turned into an overpriced, "shabby chic" furniture store that isn't worth looking in or buying from. When it was a true antique mall, Beard's used to be one of my favorite places. Now, it's just a disappointment.

The reason I give 4 stars is the after-math. My couch came with a very small tear. Ashely has a repair guy come out which then told me that the backing would need to be replaced for best use. Very professional and kind. What I have a problem with is that they are shipping parts directly to me, which I then have to check to make sure they are correct - then call someone - schedule ANOTHER appointment and then be present for about 3 hours when they fix it. I know nothing about couch parts - I have no idea how to check if they are correct or not. Why can't the parts be sent to the repair man who makes sure it's correct and then brings it with them on the appointment?? This is not the end of the world, BUT this is a lot of added hassle for a couch that came NEW ripped. In short, even if your couch has the SMALLEST imperfection, refuse it....

My order because they over sold their inventory on Black Friday got pushed back to February 2026. Hammad the manager is less then pleasant to work with. They made me come up to the store 3 times to leave the store with no resolution. He tried offering me two options that were less then what I had ordered to basically throw me a bone. The sales manager which now I know is the the store manager "Hammad" both advised with my sales associate that I would have my piece. My sales associate was very nice and professional through out this ordeal so shout out to Anthony "Tony" Tuah but he couldn't do anything. Then for FINALE one of the young ladies call me on 12/31/25 to tell me Hammad can't solve the problem with getting my furniture so I either have to wait and get a refund. I advised them I could not talk as I was at work and would call her back. Not even 5 minutes later the young lady calls me and says Hammad is pressuring me to ask you again so you want a refund or wait. Again, I advised I would call back and asked when the store manager would be in. I said not cancel my order, she advised they would be in on 1/3/26, I go back to the store on 1/3/26 to find out the rude and bad customer service sales manager was Hammad the store manager. I said I refused to speak to him because he is rude and never handled anything he would just sent the front office ladies or my sales assoc. to speak to me instead of him directly with his rude behavior. Once I said I was not working with him and need his bosses information he walked passed me smirked/laughed and kept walking passed me. The front desk agent gave me a generic phone number and email to contact Ashley Corporate. I did ask for a refund and I left. Needless to say they wasted my time for 6 weeks to not get ANYTHING!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the way I was treated and no resolution.
