So worth it if you love wallabies and feeding animals. Also I have not known any other zoo/park that has a wallabie walkthroug. Manor House also has many experiences that you can pay additonal cost for by pre booking so I booked and paid for a VIP encounter with a tapir. They were lovely. I especially loved brushing them and tickling their bellies. So sweet. The keeper as well was a very lovely girl and very knowledgable. Wildlife Park is very clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

The park is under new ownership (since I last visited 30+ years ago), and everything is very clean and well presented. The walk around the park was just amazing and all the animals looked very happy and well-cared-for. Many of the animal habitats are accessible to people for petting or simply getting up close and personal. There are "wallaby-bites" available at the front entrance gate for feeding the wallabies. Many of the wallabies had their babies in their pouches and wouldn't come near, but they were so beautiful to watch! When we entered the Flemish rabbit area, one of the rabbits ran straight up to us for attention and petting :) I love that there are hand-washing stations with lots of signage at the exits to all animal habitats. It's a small park, in the middle of rural Wales, so the variety of animals is not the same as you'd find at a larger zoo, but my husband and I still had a wonderful time. The keepers were feeding the meerkats as we entered that area, and the keepers stayed and spoke with the crowd of people that had gathered to watch. It was clear that the animals in the park are treated with respect and great care by the keepers. My husband and I had an awesome time that day, well worth the admission price of 11.95 British pounds each.

In the 20+ acres you have all the reg farm animals to feed. Theres a couple of rides , bouncy castle and toy tractors to skoot around on. All this could be done in drizzly weather with wellys on but if its really bad theres a massive indoor play area. they have a small area for babys and toddlers thats well padded and keeps them entertained for ages. The older kids have lots to climb and the tallest slides i have ever seen. my heart was in my mouth watching the kids come down it , but they thought it was wicked. The enclosures are made out…read moreof wood rather than steel and concrete and many of the animals are former pets which had been abandoned. Having said that it is still a zoo and the animals are kept in cages. Most of the animals are small including lots of little monkeys and there are a lot of reptiles as well although there are leopards, crocodiles and ocelots if you want something a bit more carnivorous. The downside for me was the cost of admission which I felt was way too high given the size of the zoo. On the plus side you could buy tubs of nuts and grapes to feed to the monkeys which my daughter really enjoyed. It's probably worth a look if you've got some cash to spare.

Full disclosure: I've never been to an animalarium or zoo in the U.K. All of my experience with zoos has been in the U.S. This zoo is filthy, dated, and very sad. There is a wide variety of animals there, from Sheep and Goats to Lions, Linx, and exotic monkeys. None of the enclosures seemed big enough for the animals. This was especially noticeable for the Leopard, Crocodiles, large snakes, and Lions. I was also concerned about safety. The big cats were separated from the public by little more than chicken wire and there was one disinterested, young, female employee with the lions. Moreover, the enclosures were dirty, stinky, and overrun with weeds. I felt sorry for all of the animals. Allegedly, all of these animals are rescued and rehomed and my two year old enjoyed the animals, so 2 stars seems appropriate.

It like Noah's ark in that there are 2 or 3 of the 'big animals - Rhinos, Lions, 1 Tiger, elephants, Giraffes, Buffalo etc. There are also 'events' showing birds of prey and farm animals etc.. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and knowledgable. It is not cheap at all - around £70 for us to get in and we were there for some 4 hours - able to walk round everything and have lunch easily. Price is the only reason why it's not 5 stars! Fully recommend

I brought my son, niece & nephew here for the day and we had such a lovely time. As you walk in they have a huge play area to your left with a pirate ship & slides, they also have tables right next to it for parents to sit and watch. To your right they have a big picnic field with benches, and trampolines to keep the kids entertained. They animal area is huge and it's a lovely walk, they have so many animals and they are all kept in enclosures suitable for the animal and they all seem very happy and content. The best thing is now the elephant enclosure, it's the biggest in the UK and can hold up to 10 elephants. They only have one elephant at the moment but they will be getting more in the near future. Noah's ark also have a little gift shop and a cafe selling hot and cold food. Pretty average prices really. They also have a tractor ride which costs £2 per adult and £1 per child, this lasts about 20 mins and is loads of fun. Prices for entry are: Adults- £15 Children- £10 (2-16) Under 2s- Free Would definitely recommend Noah's Ark for a fun day out.

Most notably, they advertise penguins on their brochure as a main attraction which one of our party was very much looking forward too and only came for the penguins but they all died a while ago. Great value tickets, nice little gift shop on the way out. They have such a wide range of animals for a fairly small space, all with wonderfully large enclosures, and all naturally managed - all the enclosures are as close as possible to their natural habitat, so the animals are happier and in better health. This can mean that they're hard to spot because they can be hiding in plant growth, but when you do see them they're so animated and fun to watch. Informative, educational and amusing talks are given by the keepers on the animals, there are various encounter sessions during the day where you get to hold some of the smaller animals, and reptiles and spiders and so on. The kids had a wonderful time, as did we, though we were surprised at how tired we were when we got back to the car - it's a deceptive space! Though on quite a small plot for a zoo, the paths and enclosures are arranged so that you get the impression you're walking round a much bigger place.
