Please never use this company for you tax return. If so ask what the cost is. On March 18, 2024 I called just to get information. However they said they we associated with the IRS so I gave them my information. I googled IRS.GOV didn't realize it until i looked back because it said Irs sponsored. $600 later with a refund of $291 when it should have been $1050 total rip off I would never agreed!!! read more

Received a call from these guys offering their services, so I did a little research 1) They were once called " NTC Financial", from my research they went out of business and are now Nationwide Tax Consulting It seems they went out of business due to multiple law suits. The principal/owner of NTC was Stephan Stanfel, and according to LinkedIn, the CEO of Nationwide Tax Consulting is..... Stephan Stefanel. The BBB lists NTC as "OUT OF BUSINESS". Many of their positive yelp reviews have IDENTICAL review for both companies 2) On their website they have customer testimonials and photos of people who say their service is great . I did a reverse image search on "Jim" and came up with many hits. These websites include "blacksgiveback" and seemedyearning.ml" If this is indeed a legit business, why are they using fake/stock photos of people who, and I quote, "They've already trusted us". " There's also "Marie" , she's VERY popular on TinEye as it seems she is a stock photo model. She has been featured on shutterstock, varsitytutors, and bigstockphoto.com 3) The reviews on the BBB are horrendous. Now, BBB is not always the best place to look for reviews as everyone is generally upset by the time they get there, but their response to the reviews is quite unprofessional "Everything she wrote is a lie. Let us be clear, she is a liar all around.", "That is who this person is. She in turn ripped us off, not the other way around", "This woman is nothing more than a liar who is willing to go to immoral lengths to get her money back", " I'd tell anyone to not do business with this consumer because she will try to rip off and extort your company as she did ours." I signed a contract to have them do my taxes and negotiate with the IRS. My communication stopped with them when I got diagnosed with cancer. When started communicating with them again, they wanted around 3,200 dollars (I did not pay this) more to complete the job (initial fees totaled 2,500-2,700 were paid). They wanted more to fish than the fees to start. Ultimately, they just added my 1099's and took zero expenses. Any fool on TurboTz ca do that. They did not refund my money and they should have because they didn't do the job that they were contracted to do. Communication responses from them were often slow. It was a horrible experience, I was taken, and this was a waste of money. They are one of the biggest scammers in the taxes business the talk about how out taxes service should have a lawsuit file on them in which they need a class action lawsuit file on them I finish paying them in February of 2020 that when I lost touch with them. I call and call the only way to get in touch with them is say you're a new client then someone will come to the phone. Its now 2024 yes I paid them in 2020 as of now they have not done my taxes nor will they answer my calls. I had ti hire some else to do mt taxes please telling you tell all your friends if they started paying them to please get out because they will not help you they will take you money and leave you high and dry. This is the type of review that is a pleasure to write for a group of people who are truly deserving a bright light of appreciation being shined on them. I have a serious tax problem that began when a bookkeeper quit unexpectedly a few years ago. Things just never got back on track and moved into a serious problem stage fast. I do ok when things run smoothly. But when I get over my head I avoid and ignore my own problems and turn into my own worst enemy. I value ethics and doing my part, so its especially painful and I block the issues even more as a result. Honestly, I am truly grateful to Nationwide Tax Consulting for coming along. I agreed to prepay a fee to resolve everything and they are true to their word, helping me through this mess with kindness, respect, and appreciation. I was contacted by these people (sales person Kenny) urging me to use their service, to HELP me get out of a very bad tax situation. I was hesitant. After many months of haggling back and forth, I took out a personal loan for $3K to pay them for their service. I have cooperated and given them everything they asked for, and now I feel I have been a victim of a white-collar crime. I was informed today that there is NOTHING they can do for me, even though after forking out $3,000 that I didn't have, I am WORSE off than before we started. The "salesman" that basically bullied me into using their service, promising that my $30+ in tax debt would be (and I QUOTE) reduced to around $7,000 and my payments to around $50-$90 a month, straight up LIED to me. He had NO knowledge of what could (or in this case couldn't) be done for me. He was there to SELL a PRODUCT, and disappear. My "consultants" Kelly and Stephan, have been of NO help, unavailable, and rude. I am wiped out financially now, thanks a bunch Nationwide Tax Consultants. BEWARE of these people. They will go to any length to get your money, provide NO service, and then "poof"! They're gone, with my financial info, my SSN, and no offer of reimbursement for the money they took from me - knowing they were not going to do ONE thing they promised. Absolute rip-off. Borderline CRIMINALS!! Read their Better Business Bureau reviews. I paid them $1,500.00 because they promised to help negotiate my back tax debt, help with a plan moving forward for my business, and file my S-Corp, and personal taxes. They assigned a very young, RUDE, CONDESCENDING, UNPROFESSIONAL **** to my case. Had to complain about him, and they assigned another guy that was completely unresponsive, unhelpful, and basically told me that everything the salesman sold me wasn't possible. I could have had great customer service, and all my taxes filed locally for $400.00. I wound up owing THOUSANDS more in taxes, than any year in the past as well. I was skeptical at first and for that reason delayed responding to Nationwide's initial emails to me. How glad I am now that I did respond back to them. My IRS problems were beginning to snowball out of control until Nationwide took over. Not only did Joe Marinari reassure me that everything would work out, he did so at 7am on a Sunday morning in response to my email concerning several threatening certified mail letters received from IRS the day before. Nationwide was able to contact IRS and with little effort on my part able to negotiate an installment payment plan that was affordable to me. The fee that Nationwide charges may seem high at first but when you look at the results gained in exchange for that fee the fee becomes very reasonable. I would highly recommend Nationwide to anyone having tax issues. They are the absolute best. read more

They don't respond, they don't have the experience to check to see if you need help with your State taxes along with your Federal. Poor qualification skills, then they give you a representative that really doesn't care. They didn't start my paperwork until they received half of the money ($5000). I spent $3000 to have them file my 2017 taxes and help me set-up my business and quickbooks. They took my money and then never performed the services promised! For six months, I asked what they needed from me. No response. I prepared my own taxes and asked them to review first. No response. I asked them to reserve my business name. No response. Finally, I emailed and asked for my money back. That got a response! An account rep (Kelly) called and begged me to give them another chance and promised they wouldn't ignore me this time claiming a technical email difficulty. I'd already done most of the work myself and just wanted my money back but they never gave it. I was completely done wrong and they never even seemed to care. Don't trust this company. They just want to make the sale and don't have the staff capable to back it up. They never gave me back my money. :( read more

My experience with Nationwide Tax Consulting and their staff was awesome. All the staff knew what they were doing. Each person I worked with there was knowledgeable and compassionate. I worked with Samantha on the initial stages. I highly recommend her if you need someone with extensive experience that will take the time and effort to explain to you the specific details. In my case, I had a IRS Federal Tax Lien for a large sum of money cost to $65,000. Samatha explained their program to me and went in detail how they could assist me. With a set price of $599, I was a little doubtful with all the work she had to complete. After reviewing the information and speaking to her, I had good faith I was in good hands. They were nice, it was affordable, then, to top it all off, it only took a matter of a few weeks before they were able to get back to me with the results. From there, I worked with a gentleman named Art and he was just as compassionate and knowledgeable as Samantha on my initial encounter. He went over everything that they saw I needed to fix to relieve my IRS Tax Lien, then, they sent me all the information. I worked with them on finishing everything up and from that point forward I was working Chris, yet another one of their team members that was compassionate about my situation. They worked hard and for me and they were able to get me into an IA that I was able to afford and that took care of my issue. I highly recommend this company. Extremely unprofessional. I had what I feel was a bad experience with one tax lawyer prior to Nationwide Tax Consulting contacting me. They informed me that they could stop the IRS from collecting while they did an investigation to see what my options where. The initial up front cost would be $299 then, after the initial investigation was done, we would do an addendum for additional money dependent on; if there was anything they felt they could do to assist me and which way we would approach it. I stated that sounded good but I wanted everything in writing and signed by them in regards to what I would get for the $299. They stated I had to sign their documents and they outright refused to sign anything for me stating what I would get for my $299. We discussed this and I explained I am paying you to provide a service; I want to know exactly what I am going to get for the service. Things got heated very quickly when I would not move from my stance of wanting everything spelled out in writing and signed. The representative started using foul language dropping the F bomb several times at this point. As I explained to him, if they are going to provide the services they are stating verbally, then there should be no reason they cannot put this in writing and sign it. Again he started using foul language and dropped the F Bomb about me being burnt in the past and basically called me an idiot for requesting this. read more
