Perhaps the Wein crowd likes to have a late Friday dinner? Whatever the reason, it did ensure that service was a nice blend of attentive but hands off. When we left at around 7:15 pm, 1 other table had been taken. I ordered some jasmine tea, which came in a nice small pot. My friend got tap water. In some places they charge you for tap water, but they didn't here which is always nice. Food wise, I got the chirashi while both my friends got bulgogi. One of my friends tried to order something else first, but couldn't because some items on their menu are seasonal (they have an asterisk next to them) and only available some of the time. The chirashi was pretty decent-- 3 salmon, 3 tuna, and 3 or 4 other pieces of fish (forget the kind). The quality of fish was good, but not spectacular (although I have very high standards, having eaten at Tsukiji Fish Market :P). However, at around 12€ I count it as a win food-wise. My friends were happy with their bulgogi, but from the small piece I stole I would rate it as average. A little more fatty and low quality meat than normal for me, and not as grilled. At the end of the meal, we got a complementary dessert of fried banana with honey drizzled on top, which was yummy. They also accept credit cards. Overall, for an Asian restaurant that serves a variety of cuisines, the quality of the food rates high for the price point. It's definitely not an "authentic" place for sushi (women behind the counter appeared to be the sushi chef and the staff was Chinese), but who really cares about authentic as long as you enjoy the food?! Just eat and be happy :)

Absolutely wonderful service and delicious food. TOURIST FRIENDLY…read more My friend and I were visiting as tourists when we got caught in a heavy rainstorm. With no idea where we were or where to eat, we stumbled into this restaurant, completely by chance, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. Despite being walk-ins, with drenched clothing, they quickly found us a table, offered menus, and made us feel genuinely cared for. We noticed many of the staff spoke multiple languages. The service was prompt and attentive. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, talented, and gracious...always smiling and checking in. I've traveled quite a bit around the world, but I can honestly say I've rarely experienced service this warm and genuine. The food was absolutely delicious, well-prepared, and seemed authentically made. The restaurant itself had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I'm incredibly thankful to the team here for turning what was initially a soggy, stressful afternoon into such a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
