I am a very active person (female, early 30's) and came to Natural Balance for a combination of sports massage (in particular to help a recurrent hip/back issue that I have) and general relaxation. I find them to be excellent practitioners for any massage need. The staff here are professional, well qualified and really friendly. They know their stuff and often offer advice that will help you to reduce injury/feel more relaxed once you are off the massage table. The rooms are of wonderful quality (minimal, lovely lighting, with soft music if you so desire) and as soon as you enter you feel relaxed and at ease. Parking is not an issue (although you may have to pay, depending on the time of visit and where you park in the road) and I have always left feeling wonderful - even after my more deep-tissue sports massages! Mark and Richard are the two most fantastic practitioners I have ever met, and I have been assured by my partner (who also goes here for his sports injury problems and sports massages) that they are also brilliant when treating men. The other members of staff are always friendly and welcoming too. I highly recommend Natural Balance for all massage needs, not to mention the other treatments that they offer (some beauty treatments, acupunture and hot stones to name a few!) Angela was highly recommended to me by a colleague. I was advised to have a swedish massage and I wasn't disappointed. It was a real treat, It was a couple of days ago now and I'm still feeling the benefit. Angela was incredibly sensitive as it was my first time. Everything was explained beforehand after taking a brief history. The environment was clean, calming and a comfortable temperature, with relaxing music playing in the background. Angela seemed to know intuitively where my aches and pains were. Angela also gave me the opportunity to experience hot stone massage and cups. The hot stone massage was amazing the heat just seemed to penetrate muscles leaving them feeling relaxed and loose. I left the oil on my skin afterwards although you were left alone afterwards and I could have wiped it off with a towel however as my skin is quite dry anyway I thought I would leave it on and I'm glad I did as my skin still feels soft now. Just maybe a wipe behind the knees for when I was in the car.Parking wasn't too much of a problem I managed to find a space a short walk away and £2.00 for 2 hours isn't too bad. Me and my boyfriend used our long weekend in Brighton relaxing as much as possible and the highlight was the amazing massages we got from Steve and Jan.When we arrived on a beautiful , hot sunny day we were welcome by these two therapists who took us individually into seperate therapy rooms and we both after said how amazing it was and what good value the experience was.The area was gorgeous, the house was very contemporary but yet professional and the massages we had were the best I can say Ive had in long time.I think I can safely say that we both thoroughly recommend the deep tissue massage and the aromatherapy massage.Many Thanks to you both,Steve and Jan, I cant wait to come again! This was my first Thai massage ever and was a 2hr session with Steve Mason. I didn't know what to expect since I only ever had deep tissue massages before, but you know what it's like when a massage is over and you wish it would go on forever? Well, the 2 hour massage is so well worth it cos you get the chance to properly relax and you don't feel disappointed that it's over too soon. It's like the difference between a 1 week holiday and a 2 week holiday. Both are great but you get so much more from a 2 week holiday! That is what a 2 hour massage is like, especially a Thai massage. It is more gentle, but still very firm and ultimately much more relaxing because the masseur has a chance to do every part of your body thoroughly from the tips of your fingers and toes to the top of your head. Thai with Tanya I have been receiving Thai massage with Tanya for back pain, stiffness in my joints and hip, and general flexibility / mobility. From the very first session I felt recharged and a general feeling of wellness. At each session there is a small sustained improvement in mobility / flexibility which shows the treatment is having the effect I always hoped it would. Thai massage has energised me. I first visited Natural Balance after receiving gift tokens for my birthday and enjoyed my first experience of hot stone therapy which I find to be deeply relaxing. All treatments are fully explained and take place in comfortable rooms on beds which can be heated and perfect in the winter months. Have used Natural Therapies a couple of times. First time I saw Richard for a sports massage following a half marathon. My back had locked in and he freed it in one session. I felt amazing. I was brusied but just proof the pressure was right to fix the problem. My second visit I saw Angela to fix my neck and shoulder after a trampolining accident.
