We worked with Natural Expressions for our wedding, and were so glad we did! Luckily, both Christine and Dan were available on our big day. They thought of everything, always five steps ahead on the details to make sure our day was perfect. The only times we knew they were there is when they were helping us remember something we had forgotten, or didn't even know to do. For example, about halfway through the reception, Christine found one of my bridesmaids to help me quickly touch up my makeup. All of the pictures came out beautifully, many of which I had no idea they were capturing at the time. We still haven't picked out the photos for our albums (two years later!) but we know they'll be beautiful when we finally do. One piece of advice to engaged couples: Have an unplugged wedding. It was very important to us that our guests not try to be amateur photographers, getting in the way at special moments and posting their own pictures on social media. Natural Expressions is what I used almost three years ago for my graduation pictures. I was about to graduate high school and my mom, my dad, and I met up with the photographer at Herman Park. We took pictures for about an hour or so. We took photos by the pond, the bridge, and anywhere with a good background. The photographer was super nice and talkative. As a introverted person, taking pictures isn't my thing but the photographer made me feel more comfortable. He gave me simple directions on how to pose and might I add, he complimented me many times which definitely boosted my ego while taking pictures. Once the pictures were done we met at the shop to get the pictures. The pictures were lovely and it was a good experience. I definitely recommend this place to get your wedding pictures done, baby showers, graduations, and while I was in the shop they had a bunch of maternity photos which looked stunning. She is extremely patient, (my daughter has ADHD and and my mother is very particular about getting the perfect shot -- so this photo shoot had its challenges) is SO VERY talented, and captured my special occasion in such a beautiful and memorable way. She and Dan were flexible with my non traditional service and my goals to capture the event. Christine made it nearly impossible for me to narrow down pictures for my album!
