Gendai Reiki-ho and Komyo Reiki Kai are styles of Usui Reiki Ryoho as practiced in Japan in the 1920s. Roberta R, Barnes, completed the highest levels allowing her to teach directly under the Japanese founder of each style.
Each of the 4 levels in Gendai Reiki-ho & Komyo Reiki Kai include enough hours in classes to cover all the Japanese exercises, techniques, meditations, and empowerments for that level. Student manuals as well as certificates are given in each level.
Pre-registration, and deposit are required at least 4 days prior to the first scheduled class.

Natural Healing & Learning Center founded by Roberta R. Barnes is nestled in nature in Central Maine. The relaxation you feel in and around this healing studio reflects the balance and harmony of Gendai Reiki-ho & Komyo Reiki.. Roberta Barnes' Japanese Reiki classes and healing sessions reflect the essence she learned directly from Hiroshi Doi and Rev. Hyakuten Inamoto, who both live in Japan and have only two Shihans between themselves and Mikao Usui the founder of Usui Reiki Ryoho.
All healing sessions are by appointment only.
Classes are scheduled on week days and weekends; registration by phone or Email is required at least 4 days prior to classes.
Meet the Business Owner: Roberta R.
Roberta R. Barnes Gendai Reiki-ho Shihan (master instructor), Komyo Reiki Kai Shihan, Master Herbalist and Author completed the updated teacher's level in the styles she teaches directly under the creator of both styles. Both of these Japanese Shihans live in Japan and have only two Shihans between themselves and Mikao Usui the founder. Even though she has practiced various forms of natural healing and meditation for over thirty five years, she teaches Japanese Reiki as she learned from her Shihans without added complications. Her small classes allow her to address student's questions. Each level includes multiple classes to cover all the Japanese exercises and techniques required for that level. The original guided meditations and personalized herb reports she gives are separate from Japanese Reiki classes.
Roberta Barnes also professionally recorded two of her original guided meditations on the CD "Finding Your Solutions" and her delightful and insightful fantasy children's book
