I run a Web and graphic design company and I have had my books *so* well taken care of by Natural Numbers, for years. I know my way around Quickbooks enough to be dangerous with it, and the Natural Numbers team has done a fantastic job in keeping my books up-to-date and accurate. I agree with the previous poster that the key strengths you want out of a bookkeeping organization is competency and trust/integrity. Natural Numbers has both in spades. I have never had an issue handing over all of my sensitive information (credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc.) - and neither have the many friends and business associates that I have sent their way, who are now regular clients of NN. What's great about their philosophy: if they don't get the job done by the agreed time/government's deadlines, they pay the subsequent government penalties. They have never once been late in the entire time I've hired them, but it's nice to know I have that kind of guarantee, and that I won't be penalized. Most bookkeepers I've dealt with in the past have been ok, but the owner of Natural Numbers is strangely dynamic and extremely personable - Meline doesn't fit the typical personality of what I'd expect the "typical" bookkeeper to be. She's very flexible and incredibly bright - I've seen her find solutions that are creative and adaptive to the particular business I am in. I felt that the website with an Inc. on it was pandering. She does not want to be an employee but does not take the steps necessary to be an ethical business.
