I went to Natural Wigs for a consultation on December 31, 2025. I did not know what to expect, but my experience was wonderful! Leslie showed me options that I was not aware of. I purchased a beautiful Topper that is exactly what I needed. Leslie took plenty of time to make sure I got one that was the right color and texture. She even helped me to get an appointment with a Dermatologist! I had tried to make an appointment in December and it would not have been until February. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Natural Wigs Store! From the first time I called the store, the owner, Leslie, was extremely pleasant, professional, and helpful! During my consultation, I ordered a wig and within a few weeks, it was in! I am so happy in the quality of my natural hair wig, as the texture, color, and length is EXACTLY what I asked for. Since this was my first time wearing a wig, Leslie took her time, teaching me how to install and care for the wig properly. DO NOT SHOP HERE. As a transgender female and vulnerable human walking in to my first wig salon, I was overcharged, taken advantage of, and then injured by the owner who I believe purposely and without care attached a wig in a way that literally burnt the skin off of the back of my neck(be aware that this did not happen the other times she laid my hair) which made me have to rip it off my head. All because I brought in a wig that I had purchased prior to meeting her. She said I disrespected her and then charged me triple the fee and told me to get cash so she could pay her mother. This is how the owner Leslie treated a client who had bought 5 wigs totaling over $1200 in less than a week. I was desperate and she knew it. I didn't think for a moment that someone whose business is supposedly there for cancer patients, she would be so heartless and selfish. Also know that I only write this review after giving the owner a two week grace period to either replace the $800 wig she ruined or refund my money for said wig. I have heard nothing. The best part is the wig she bullies me into cutting my $800 wig after wearing it once for a week. It didn't hit me until later that she knew I would have to buy another expensive one if she cut bangs. Any other woman she would never have even dared to suggest it. I then wore it for a few days and because It looked so awful, I dropped it off for the glue to be removed snd hair washed. Before picking up the cut wig, I decided it was just easier to grab my hair and never shop there again. I changed my mind immediately when I walked in and I personally had to go in search of it; which I found exactly where she had tossed it a week prior never to be touched. Sitting on her hamper lid, not washed cleaned or even presentable. When I began to lightly remove her "glue product" , the product she should have removed, it literally shredded the lace front. After crying in the car and showing my family, I decided I was not going to let it go as I cannot in good faith allow this business and it's owner to disrespect, take advantage of, or rob anyone else who actually needs real help, compassion, and understanding. Also Natural Hair is the dirtiest, filthiest, most unkempt "hair" salon I have ever entered. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau and the SC Equality Commission to ensure the owner of Natural Hair never harms another person. read more

I wanted to do something nice for my boyfriend's sister's birthday. She is a warrior fighting breast cancer right now and just lost her hair. She is a gorgeous woman with and without hair- actually pulls off any style with grace and fabulousness but I know how important looking and feeling good is to every woman. Being that I live in California and our current pandemic situation, I knew I had to be creative to pick the right birthday gift. After looking around a little online, I came across this shop's website and got on the chat to get some information. Diana was the representative that graciously pointed me into Leslie's direction. She told me a little bit about Leslie's background and that I would be in good hands. Before I knew it the lovely Leslie called me (despite the 3 hour time difference). She was cheerful and willing to help. She helped me to decide on purchasing a gift voucher and offered to deliver it on the time and day of my choice. I was simply pleased with that alone - little did I know what she was getting ready to pull off. To cut to the chase-- Leslie delivered a beautiful gift basket and delivered it to my girl at no extra cost! She offered to FaceTime the whole entire delivery (unfortunately I was unavailable for the call). I know that The surprise was delivered beautifully and with love. If Leslie was willing to do this for a stranger (me) way across the country, I can only imagine the service she is providing in person at her shop. We need more people like her and more businesses like the one she runs. I mean that sincerely! I hope to meet her someday. I am touched by how she is out there loving the people. Go with this shop.
