I was hobnobbing with the rich and famous on Jarvious Road, and saw this delightful little baby shop called Peppin Boutique, it is a must visit for all parents. I browsed around a bit and saw the coolest little outfits, unfortunately they all came at a king's ransom. But there is a reason for this inflated price; items are designed by owner Kathleen Waite, and kitting your young one out with these outfits will give them the individuality they deserve. I recommend that everyone should buy one outfit here, even if it is only worn to family photo shoots. At least that way it will last forever.

Previously I used to find the clothing unfashionable: embellished with dinosaurs, cartoon characters, teddy bears or chipmunks on the front of many t-shirts or hoodies - however now things have changed for the better. Recently I purchased the aforementioned clothing without hesitation: stylish, muted coloured garments and extremely reasonably priced. They have regular sales, reduced clothing from $10 which is brilliant. The sales staff are fantastic, attentive, friendly without being pushy. I really enjoyed my shopping experience at 'Pumpkin Patch' and look forward to returning for more staple pieces soon. Also a NZ brand - just saying.

The merchandising was chaotic, slightly claustrophobic due to so much stock and not knowing where to look first. There are always great reductions on t-shirts, usually 2 for $20-$25. Lots of great girls footwear in particular, hair accessories and drink bottles for $6 when you make a purchase. I didn't buy what I wanted, however I still left content with my $2 charity bag full of boys clothes. What a place to be sitting in the fairy shop sipping on coffee and nibbling on sweet cakes and treats. You order in the Fairy Shop, where you can browse the stands of toys for the kids, they even had little boy options too which impressed me. The pretty pink decor is happy and playful and this would be any little girl/boys dream come true. I hear they also do fairy birthday parties, now that would be fun! They have a lot of tutus for sale in different shades, plus accessories and fairy related toys. My coffee was creamy and chocolate layered, accompanied with yummy chocolate fish, and the cheese scone was also cheesy and tasty. I bought my nephew a chocolate brownie and he demolished this within seconds. Overall I enjoyed my afternoon at the cafe, and so did my friends.

There is an excellent selection of dresses from more casual to party dresses, and of course what the store is famous for the dress ups. Every dress is of a quality you will surely be satisfied with, and the best part is with a smaller number of dresses being sold in each style your daughter will likely be the only one of her friends with that dress. As an extra help if your daughter is attending a dance or formal they keep a record of which dresses have been purchased for each event so your daughter won't have to share her style with anyone else.
