Quality of hiring and training your staff is superior to anything else I have seen. Have the highest regard for the assistance they offer their customers. This is especially true of the Senior generation. Yes, I am one of them (81) Wife (80) I find that getting the "MORNING STAR" late Thursdays and finding out the sales are just for Wednesday and Thursdays hard to accept. Seniors like everone else are finding the price hicks hard on the wallet. For Vernon perhaps Thursday and Friday would work out better. While I don't live in Vernon, I am a regular visitor and I always stop at this market, usually more than once. Sometimes I pick up a few groceries and sometimes I pick up at their ready to eat counter. There are nice tables outside to eat at. The service is fairly friendly. The prices are what I expect for organic, local, etc...and they have parking for while you shop there. read more

Great organic & health foods markets - they're just in the process of enlarging their store. A tremendous selection of vitamins, supplements etc. Basically I'd say you can probably get everything you'd need here now, including meats/dairy. Lots of vegan items. Small but thorough produce selection. I almost always find everything I need here, staff are friendly and helpful. Haven't used the deli much but what I have has been great for a healthy snack or lunch. I've heard others complain of the price, unfortunately eating organic and healthy can be more costly but I don't find the prices are unreasonable compared to Kelowna or Vancouver. This is THE go to place to recommend to health conscious people living in or visiting Vernon. They have grocery items,dairy, cheese,produce, health and beauty aids, bulk food, bulk soap, bulk bath fizzy stuff, vitamins, minerals, supplements, and the friendliest atmosphere in town! They are all so helpful. Every department has helpful staff. If they don't have an item that you're looking for then they'll special order it in for you. That's Customer Service! I love that they support local farmers. I am still a huge fan of their convenient Grab And Go foods in the front coolers. If you want catering done or organic smoothies, salads, sandwiches, entrees, freshly made drinks, baked goods.... they have a great deli and seating inside and (seasonally) outdoor tables and chairs too. They also have free publications to sit and enjoy with a cup of great brewed organic coffee. read more

Love Natures Fare. The store is clean and the staff are excellent. There is a great variety of food and I very much appreciate knowing that everything I buy is ethical and consciously chosen as a product to shelve. Great store....if money is no object that is. I find the cashiers mostly friendly, sometimes a little over the top though. Be careful when you buy reduced price items. Check that the correct price comes up. I have been back to correct the mistake made on my bill literally 4 times is 6 months. Frustrating. Is the only store close to me to buy the foods I eat though, so I am there quite a lot. read more
