There are rarely long lines to see a tellers, and they are very accommodation when making private appointments. The range of services for savings and investments are very good and I get a savings health check regularly. This makes sure I am making the most if my money. As I am a FlexPlus member, I have worldwide travel insurance included with my account, and I also have fee free foreign transactions on both my debit and credit cards. Well worth the £10/month fee for me, since I travel abroad a lot!

The branches are limited to what they are allowed to do, but the staff always try to explain the changes from head office to those customers affected. I have been in a couple of times when elderly people have been confused by the changes, and why they havent been able to get mini statements etc, and the staff have taken the time to explain it properly and tell the people how they can achieve what they need.

Was interested in moving to a bank that had branches locally which is Halifax. Sadly as my cash has now been designated as criminal money by Halifax Cleveley's I will most definitely not be changing to a branch like this. I do believe that there's a Skipton branch over the road, I'll see if they're interested in my £3000 a month in one of their accounts instead.

I don't usually like things such as self-service checkouts at supermarkets, which effectively rob someone of a job whilst also making the customer do all the work, however these machines are the exception to that rule. I hate queuing up in a bank and this means I don't have to. Win! :-)
