I called Seacoast to get her new number which I misplaced as I was having heart issues. They would not give it to me. I then had a major hospitalization and needed my practitioners new contact info as she was also my primary care (still listed under these folks for some reason). I called the hospital. No luck. Then I figured out that I had sent my medical records to the new place she had gone to. They gave me that contact info after I told them my next step was calling my attorney. Egregious. in my opinion, had I been able to get my practitioners name in a timely manner, I think I might have avoided a major hospitalization. IMO if you could rank them below zero would be my rating. When my Practioner was there, they had a HUGE problem with the front desk as well. Glad I will never have to return there. If people do not want to do business with this practice, the practice should provide contact information to doctors and providers who previously worked here.

I feel I am being a fair customer to move my appt out so my bill would be paid before I have another appt. They wouldn't allow me to do that!!! I have to pay the entire bill before I can move an already scheduled appt. I am sharing in case this happens to someone else. The greed is highly problematic given how much a derm office takes in. My doc I love and the staff have been great. I have documented this in case I end up not being treated by them for skin cancer due to their greed and inflexible policies for the 700 I owe.

The procedures were life changing, as I have been suffering with the issues these surgeons corrected for over ten years. I read these negative reviews and all I see are cry babies whose feelings were hurt. I have found the staff in Newburyport to be very nice, and all the pre-surgery events equally pleasant. And while Dr. Ozuna may not be jolly or effusive, we are not voting for Mr. popular here. I found him to be reserved and pleasant. But most importantly a great surgeon. He could be a comple A 0 and I would still go to him for his surgical skills. And the same goes for Dr. Mattheos (although I could see him being voted as Mr. Popular). Yes sometimes it takes a bit to get someone on the phone. But I don't have a lot of patience and have never lost it trying to get through.

I brought my son, who is deathly afraid of needles, in for terrible ingrown toenails. I knew he would have a hard time but Dr. Downs was sympathetic as he explained everything he was going to do. His bedside manner is amazing and it put my son's fears at ease. His toes healed quickly and look as if nothing was every wrong. I highly recommend Dr. Downs. His compassion and professionalism are what we need more of in medical practices today. If you need a podiatrist, you won't find a better one than Dr. Downs.

Buyer BEWARE because this practice will continue to bill you for the full price and offer no discount regardless of out of pocket costs you might have to pay. Just - "You faker! You took ONE WHOLE MG instead the .5 you were prescribed! You disobeyed my instructions! Of course you ran out early! No, you can't refill your prescription four days early, and no, we will not discuss why .5 once a day seems to not be sufficient (even though the general dosage is 1mg twice a day, or .5mg twice a day) or why a nurse practitioner said this prescription wasn't even therapeutic, you can't have any more, just go suffer. "And let's sign a contract that I will prescribe and you will take it as prescribed." Like I am a teenager signing a drinking contract with my mom. Get out here. That's what the instructions on the bottle are. So, if the lowest dose of .5mg doesn't help I just have to suffer until...I can reach you and get an appointment so you can say - no, you can't take a whole mg? Even though everywhere says 1 mg is appropriate. Do they like to see people suffer, or is Ritvo on some power trip that she would deny medication to someone suffering as punishment because they disobeyed her orders? Under the guise of "safety." When you are prescribing under the recommended dose and your patient is suffering AND running out early, you just...do nothing. What is this some sort of test: Will patient suffer at the alter of my instructions, rather than defy them? Reach out for help. But not here! They just make up whatever they want and don't care about helping patients.
