Dave Bombaci at Lawyers Title always went above and beyond for us. When the process first began, he went out of his way to send a courier to my place of business to pick up our earnest money check. As the process began winding down, Dave again went out of his way to send a notary direct to our home to sign papers ahead of closing. This kept everything on track. Not only was a notary sent to our home, but it was done so AFTER my wife and I were both home from work that day despite it not being until after 7:30 p.m. on a Wednesday. His communication was always concise, personable and effective. He called when he said he was going to call and each e-mail I left was always answered promptly. My wife and I were the buyers in this transaction so I cannot comment on how the process would be from the sellers perspective. As far as we are concerned, the process went as smooth as it could be. In fact, I don't know how the entire transaction could have possibly went any better. Between the title company, our realtor and our lender, everything went so awesome! As a disabled veteran he told me he could not accept a COPY of my DD214 and insisted the he needed the original, even though the website specifically stated a copy of your DD214, and that I would have to go to the main branch. I immediately requested a manager, which was contacted via phone mind you, to which they said my documentation was okay to use but that their ability to search veterans in their system was down and that I would again have to go to the main office. complete and total waste of my time.
