We had had…read morethe pool replastered 5 years ago and that job had begun failing within the first couple of years. We'd taken the low bid back then. This time we took the high bid--and are glad we did. The previous job had left out the essential step of the Bond Coat to glue the new surface to the old. This time Tri-County chipped out all the previous plaster, sprayed a thick layer of bond coat, and then resurfaced it with a beautiful layer of Arctic White PebbleSheen. We were VERY IMPRESSED with how thoroughly the job was done. Much more work went into it than the job 5 years ago. From start to finish, the work crews were thorough, careful and cleaned up after themselves. And the pool looks better than ever. I recommend Tri-County Pools. Let me add that there'd been a misunderstanding on my part of one of the costs; Steve responded promptly and we amicably negotiated a resolution. I was impressed.

However, taking payment and not providing services is something anyone considering using this firm needs to know. They were to install a timer for my pool pump. After a month delay, which they blamed on the supply chain, the timer was installed. It worked for a few days. When I reached out to inform it was no longer working I received no reply. Letty blamed it on giving me a number she rarely checks. (interesting way of doing business) She gave me a new number, which comes into play later. They came to service the pool and I told them the timer failed. They checked it and said they would get with manufacture for a replacement. The story ends with me not renewing my weekly pool service because of their lack of reliability when they would come and no communication at the new number I was given. Thus, I have not heard from them again despite multiple attempts to reach them, seeking to settle the matter. The bottom line they took a $200 payment and failed to complete the job. It feels like theft in my book and we will likely file a civil claim. I strongly encourage no one to hire this Nfiniity Pools.

We had a valve issue they said they'd resolve; after a month of no repair + continued disputes on the original bill, we were told to go to a plumber for the valve issue and an email that we didn't "fit with their customer profile." Hugely unprofessional and disorganized company, from other reviews it seems that instead of resolving issues they fire clients. Unfortunate as Max seemed very knowledgeable but would not recommend the hassle and lack of adequate service.

He did send an inexperienced technician out on one instance. The tech replaced the low voltage box which I had previously purchased and then proceeded to tell me that my light was bad and I needed a new one. Max's office sent me a quote for $2100 to replace the light and a bill for $389.70 for the technicians visit. I did a little research and testing myself and replaced the light motor inside the light for $300. Clearly I didn't need an entire new light. I was then told by Max's office that I couldn't get back on his schedule for 2 weeks to look at my other light that was supposed to be dealt with when the inexperienced tech showed up. Well, two weeks later, Max didn't show up again..... Schedule at your own risk. If you do schedule, be prepared to be disappointed!

LOL) He was telling me some horror stories of people who have gotten taken by pool contractors... wow. :-( Too bad it can be such a shady business. I didn't realize that Castilo Pools has been building and renovating pools for 30 years... I thought they were new to the business because their store just opened up in Pflugerville recently. Recently bought a home in Temple Texas and to my dismay it came with a pool! The pool was old and…read moreI knew that it would need to be re-plastered at a minimum but less than a year later, yeah, I was upset. Anyhow, the wife and I did what all people do and got multiple quotes and estimates for work that needed to be done. I'm not here to mention any other company but Brother's Pools! Chris was amazing, of all the companies we had contacted he was the only one to show up within 48 hours (at the house), took his time looking at the condition of the pool (inside the pool and pool house), spent over an hour explaining what needed to be done (minimum... and to the wife) and what should be done. The next day he submitted a quote/contract to my wife and I which broke down every expense, while still being completely reasonable. I say this because we had a few contractor come over, they spent less than 10 minutes on site and gave us a verbal quote. They didn't get in the pool, look at the filtration system, nope, just said it was the busy season and told us it would not be done until the end of July or beginning of August. That said, my wife still wanted more quotes! Chris was patient and didn't bother us, in fact, when I called him I was a little embarrassed that it took us a month to get back to him. Need less to say, Chris was gracious, asked what else we wanted done and made yet another trip out to the house! We signed a plain English contract that stated specifically the work to be performed. Three days after the contract was signed, Chris had a crew chipping out the plaster, then two days after that, had a guy replace all the plumbing, minor electrical, and the Mastic. Another couple of days passed when Chris called and asked politely if he could have his crew out to the house in the morning to begin plastering. At this point my wife was blown away because he was doing exactly what he said he would/could do, faster and more efficient than anyone else we received a quote from! After the plaster was completed, Chris came out to inspect, just as he had done for each phase of the operation. He personally, acid washed the pool and went through the filling process. Wait, there's more, he brought and applied all start up chemicals when the pool was full, brought new pool equipment (brush, net, pole..etc), and walked us through the filtration system again. There were no hidden fees, the dollar amount on the contract was exactly what we paid! The only additional expense I had was the Step Tile my wife purchased, which Chris installed for free while the guys were plastering. I've probably rambled on long enough about this company, but I cannot pay them enough compliments; these people are professional, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and they truly streamline the process! For this reason I give Chris at Brothers Pools my highest recommendation without any reservations.
