THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE EVER. SO much better than Dunkin' Donuts!!! And dangerously close to my house. These donuts melt in your mouth! They are California-style donuts that are light and fluffy, and they have an awesome array of options from toppings to filled to twists to bearclaws. The people are amazingly nice and serve so quickly. I'll be bringing these to work as often as I can just to have another excuse to stop in! The coffee is meh (would love to see them step up their game in that department) but that is not why you go here. Support this local business and you'll be addicted too!

Just finished eating some awesome donuts here! First visit and staff were very friendly and helpful. Good donut selection and very fresh taste. They do have a drive through but inside has clean tables. Highly recommend!

We finally stopped by this corner local business simply named NC Donuts. I am glad we did, the donuts are soooo delicious!!!! Dunkin is going downhill, but now I have a place to get real donuts. They are an inch thick, fluffy and the glaze is the perfect consistency of sweetness. I love a glazed donut and if a bakery can make that flavor scrumptious, we can't wait to go back and try the other flavors. The strawberry smoothie is also very good. I remembered to take a pic before all gone. Yes all 6 donuts gone in couple hours!! read more

My bestie and I spent the day in New Bern and saw this little donut spot on the side of the road and thought well let's try them out! So glad we did! The inside was clean and donuts were well organized inside each case, and the staff was very friendly and helpful answering our questions. But the donuts OMG were so yummy I forgot to take a pic lol. Plus the prices of said donuts and pastries made them taste even better! My husband inhaled both Bavarian crème donuts I got him and said they were the best he'd ever tasted. My maple bacon was soft and pillowy goodness with just a hint of salty from the bacon. I also tried the bear claw and apple fritter, both yummy, but the bear claw was my favorite because the filling was *chef's kiss*. My daughter had the blueberry donut and said it was delicious as well. Will definitely be back and take a pic next time!! read more

I have been a customer there for years, and as of late I am rethinking this position. I have never seen such a poorly run store in all of my life. They are always having computer failures, gas pump issues, and employing some people that could not replace a lightbulb let alone act as a cashier. For a number of weeks now I have been going there to get my lottery tickets, usually at night and the guy that has been "On the job" each time he has not been able to sell me print off lottery tickets, where it is a standard Powerball or other ones. His response is always I don't know how to do that. And that continues to be his response up to my last attempt last night. I don't know if these type of businesses are desperate for employment or what but this type of bottom of the barrel employment needs to change of I will be taking my business elsewhere. I would give this business less than one star if I could.

We did not have to wait, sat ourselves and were immediately brought menus. Our lunch was great and filling. But then we headed to the bakery... It's small but it has everything, cakes, cookies, preserved jellies. artisan olive oils, pastry, cupcakes etc. Everything we have tried has been really good. There are no batteries in the town where we live, and none in the two neighboring towns either despite being larger than New Bern. We find ourselves in New Bern a few times a month and are adding Famous Subs and Pizza to our list of regular stops. Even if we are not eating here we will pick up a selection of treats and fresh bread to take home with us.
