When we first moved to Omak, the biggest change was not having a huge variety of cable, internet, and wireless companies all fighting for your business! We didn't know who to go with. There was no "cable" per se, and we have always hated the "dish" services out there-- but NCI was GREAT!! We dropped by the Omak office and talked to them about what we needed... and they provided at Very fair prices, with great customer service! They came out and installed a wifi dish and set all our routers, including helping us choose which one to buy and making it secure. They sell different plans that have varying levels of usage, and we have been able to change between them with just a call whenever our needs change. Even moving was quick and easy! It's true the service is sometimes choppy because of weather or unusual problems like electrical outages, but you can call and talk to them about it and they will fix anything they can- we are loyal customers now, because of that. If you like your internet going out multiple days a month and multiple times on those days, sign up with them. Very, very unreliable and you'll be staring at a no connection screen constantly. Will be changing internet providers once my contract with them is up. There is a reason why they have contracts. They have to strap their customers down for a year to hold onto them. Their customers would be gone in the first month of trying their service if they didn't have a contract. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Avoid at all cost!!!!!! Spend the extra money on StarLink if you have to in order to get service remotely. At least you will have better, consistent and reliable service. This company canceled our internet service and picked up the equipment even though we NEVER canceled. We were left without WiFi and got no proper explanation or solution. Customer service was unhelpful and dismissive when we tried to fix the issue. This caused a lot of stress and inconvenience for our household. Terrible internet provider! Just purchased my starlink equipment. Cannot wait to tell NCI goodbye!! I was unfortunately stuck with this internet provider due to where I live they were my only option until Mr. Musk came along with a better option. I am a full time college student right now and internet is everything at this time for me. The internet constantly goes in and out as I write papers and do other tasks. You blink it's on and connected you blink again and you have no connection. Then you call them they give the same stock BS every time like unplugging the router and restart your devices. They know as well as their customers know that the problem is not on the customers end. NCI dude just hasn't updated his equipment since the 90's and his internet is a joke. Most people I talk to in the county are just as upset and working on dropping this provider if they haven't already. The only solution they have which is not a solution more like a scam is that you need to buy a new router from them for 200$ anytime you have an issue. Ridiculous! So while I wait for my starlink equipment to arrive I still have to deal with them unfortunately, and while I'm am still paying them you would think I should have internet but you would be wrong. It is 3 pm and I have been messing with this internet since 7 am. I'm supposed to get a call from tech but it's been 4 hours and still have not received a call. Jesus these guys are IDIOTS! Their 24 hour tech support simply 'elevates' your problem to more advanced technicians. Who only work bankers hours. Then they do NOTHING. They don't call you back, they don't even try to help. I think their techs at the support line hang up on you too, they act like it was a dropped call. Then when we wanted to upgrade to a higher level of service, they sent their tech out. This guy was stoned. He worked on it for about 5 minutes and then gave up. No way he wasn't stoned. These people are in no way setup to handle technology. Go with anyone else. You'll never get the level of connectivity you paid for. Not for any longer than about 5 minutes. Absolutely a waste of money have had for three years now and never works at the speeds you pay for. Then when you finally complain enough they send you to tech support who knows nothing and ask you to run tests 5 times till it get then mbps that you pay for and say there ya go it's fixed and then still can't do anything at all With it. We have the middle of the road plan we pay for and we get the bottom of the barrel speeds more then often of the times it is used. I would not suggest anyone get there internet service go with anyone else. Has to to be better! read more
