DO NOT leave your animal here. Where do I begin, I portioned put all of his food for all the meals he would be there (no extras to take home) and once we picked him up there was a meal that was not given. It would have been fine If we picked him up in the morning however it was 3 IN THE AFTERNOON!! I noticed a scab and red mark on his nose like his skin was scraped off. I asked the lady what happened and she didn't know, blamed it on pushing his bowl around but a bowl pushing would not cause this. Both my mom and I brought our dogs here last weekend. The staff were very friendly. They allowed us to bring our dogs back to their kennel when dropping off. They also allowed us to go to the back and grab them when picking them up. I loved the fact that the kennels are indoor/outdoor kennels. Prices were very reasonable!!! I will definitely bring my dogs here whenever I need them boarded. My only complaint is that they need a better outdoor sign because we were confused where the building was at first read more

if i could give 0 stars i would!! i will NEVER leave my dog here again. i've been taking my aussie here since he was a puppy, and we've had a number of issues with this establishment. my dog is used to being taken out and walked around to use the bathroom and the first time i brought him here we discovered he wasn't going in the kennel space provided. the employee told me next time he comes to leave a note and they would take him out, so a few weeks later when i needed to board him again i made sure to let them know over the phone and while dropping him off that he needed to be taken out. when i picked him up over 12 HOURS later he immediately peed on the floor in their front lobby for a LONG TIME and his pee was very yellow and smelled foul. i decided to chalk it up to employee incompetence and give them another shot a few months later. this time i can assume that he has been taken to the bathroom because he didn't go right as i got there, though when his stuff was given back to me his food was untouched. i don't know if he was fed the food they have on hand, but i do not care. i sent 6 servings of food with him, and i told them he is to be fed 2-3 a cup 3 times a day. he was there for 5 meals and when i picked him up his food bag looked untouched. i measured as i put it away when we got home and there was still 6 servings in his bag. my dog was not fed properly. my husband came with to drop him off this last time for the first time ever and the first thing he said when we got back to our car was that the place looked like a complete dump. he's not wrong. these employees clearly do not care about our pets are are just doing the bare minimum to get by. simply disgusting. this company needs to do better. read more

First off, this is a kennel. It's not a dog spa or a dog hotel or a luxury dog kennel. I'm pretty sure they aren't taking your pet out for walks, for time with other dogs, or a swim in the dog pool. At $13 a day, you get a place for your pet... food for your pet, a place to keep your pet while you're away. We've used NC's three times over the years, and we've been happy. Our dog does seem excited to leave the place, but what dog wouldn't? They provide exactly what they say they will with none of the fancy extras that cost you an arm and a leg. read more

Do not leave your dog or your worst enemy's dog here for 1 minute. Among other things they close at 6PM and don't open until 8 AM. which means your pet stays in a kennel 14 hours overnight and is never let out once. When I picked up my dog she reeked of urine. read more

Took my Saint Bernard there once. The older lady who checked us in was not friendly at all. I regret my decision to leave him there. I should've listened to my gut feeling. When I picked him up I was speechless. All the fur that was usually white in color was yellow from urine instead. He was either laying in pee or got peed on by other dogs during his stay. The young girl who brought him to us apologized and said she meant to wash him for us. But obviously never did. My mind was just blank and I was young enough not to know yet how to assert myself in situations like this. So all I can do now is write a review about how terrible this place is. read more

We love this kennel, and so do our dogs. We use this place regularly and the dogs always seem happy when we drop them off and pick them up, there is no hesitation from them at all. The kennel is quite old school, none of the 'mod con's' of a lot of kennels these days, so if you are expecting luxury 'hotel rooms' and piped classical music or one of the many things that kennels often offer (more for the benefit of the owners than for the dogs), this is not the place for you. However, I can tell that the dogs here are well looked after. The staff have always been pleasant and flexible with me, and I have never experienced the rudeness that another poster has mentioned. The only slight problem I have had is that they didn't have record of my reservation once, but they still made sure that they could accommodate our dogs, even though it was a very busy weekend. read more

We were going to be in St Cloud for a baseball tournament and I called here after another place was filled. The overnight rate was cheap at $13. No doggy daycare though. Check-in was easy as they looked at vaccine records. First impression this place reeked of dog pee. I know this can't be helped. Initially we were going to leave dog here two nights, but team lost and I picked her up around 11. The place must not have been to my dog's liking as she was super excited by crashing the door to leave. She also smelled after being in a kennel. I walked her and she crapped 4 times on our walk. Either she didn't go there or was overfed. The place served its purpose but I don't think my dog will return. read more

I highly do not recommend leaving your pet here. I have three Labrador retrievers and we got them all a space here to stay for our trip overseas. When we arrived to drop them off I was hesitant to leave them, as the building was extremely loud with barks and whines and also smelled heavily of urine. I chalked this up to the fact that I knew this was not a high end dog hotel but a reasonably priced place to keep my pets and fulfill their basic needs. I was so wrong and regret my decision to leave them here for the time I was gone. When I picked up my dogs we were handed their bedding we brought from home in a large garbage bag because it was saturated with urine. We were later informed that the dogs were locked in their cages from 6pm until 8am every day without being let out to use the bathroom. That is 14 hours without using the bathroom, and my dogs are fed at night. All three of my dogs wreaked of urine in the car on the way home, to the point where the windows had to be down to tolerate it. We are several baths in and the smell has not subsided. Along with the obvious issue of not even providing basic care, my dogs have not stopped itching since they have arrived home, and my youngest has an open rash around her mouth. I want this review to be taken seriously and I am doing my best to write it without the complete anger and malice I feel right now. People need to know before they leave their pets that their basic needs will not be met. I deeply regret leaving my dogs with this company. read more
