During August and September, especially, when temps are in the 90s and 100s (degrees Fahrenheit) the pool is a perfect reprieve from the heat. The perfect recipe here is the hot days that are also windy. Because the pool is at the base of the Cascade Mountains it doesn't get as much natural airflow/wind normally. However, on the windy and hot days, the wind provides a cooling mechanism while sitting out on a lawn chair on the pool deck. There are some parking spots reserved for patrons of the pool in a parking lot bordering the pool. The rest of the lot is open to everyone, so it can get a bit crammed during the summer and on busy days during prime-time tourism season in Leavenworth. If staying not too far from the pool, I would recommend walking if possible.

I was waiting at an intersection when the driving academy car with a student at the wheel went through the traffic light instead of yielding to the oncoming car. The oncoming car had to brake to allow the car to go through or there would have been a bad accident. You are supposed to be teaching students the right way to drive, not encouraging them to take risks to beat the traffic. If that had been my child at the wheel I would have been furious. I will never recommend this driving school to any parent, and would discourage future drivers from using this bussiness.

My instructor Sean was amazing, great teacher, encouraging all the way through. He made sure everything was fun and I learned a lot. The whole staff were great, and things are well organized to keep it fun and safe. You will switch places with another student in the same car throughout the day, which gives you time to reflect on what you've just been taught, as you watch the other set of students and see how they do on their runs. The day ends with two major sections linked together, which use all the techniques you've learned so far, and makes for a fun course to run down. Wear clothes you don't mind getting muddy, and drink plenty of water, it gets toasty in those cars.

Well he was staring at me pretty intently. I was trying not to notice as to not make his wife angry. So my drive test was scheduled for the next day and when I showed up she had a certain attitude towards me. Then I knew I shouldn't even take the drive test because I knew she would fail me. Well I was right because I did fine on test. First she said I was going to fast around corners.. I really wasn't. Then I took extra time to make a corner and she would have an annoyed look on her face. The rest of the test goes ok. I really thought I passed until she said to go in and talk about it. I think its really messed up to fail someone who is very happily married to the nest husband in the world. Sorry your husband paid me some attention. It was really unwanted. If you are an attractive woman don't go here. She will steal your money!
