I started working with NEA Construction in late December of 2019 as a supply manager. I took on the responsibility of managing there warehouse which includes thousands of dollars worth of equipment and supplies.The owner (Phillip) was loosing a great amount of money due to stolen/lost equipment because he had no system down to where he could see what employee was taking in and out of the warehouse. With that being said I like challenges and taking on a big responsibility and I excepted the position. Big mistake.. Little did I know that almost half the owners family worked there. Which isn't a bad thing if they all worked well with each other but they didn't.. The owners uncle (Roy) likes to throw a fit and quit whenever he wants. But because he is family he can come back at anytime he wants and no one says anything. Not only does he throw fits, he likes to get into physical fights with one of NEA's CO Owners. And that's not all... The owners (Tracey and Phillip) let there children play around dangerous equipment in there own warehouse when the kids are on school break. As the (supply manager) I would have to operate the forklift to bring in and out deliveries. In one instance I almost had a heart attack while on the fork lift. The owners youngest son pulled out in front of me on his tricycle inches from hitting the forks on the forklift... I confronted the owners wife (Tracey) explaining the issue and all she said was "Let me know when you are done with the forklift so my kids can go back out in the warehouse and play..
