I was feeling really good, he seemed like he really knew what he was talking about and had alot of experience. I gave him $350 and got things moving. Then I had a hard time getting a hold of him or getting returned phone calls. I needed to constantly remind him of what my case was and what was going on. He had incorrect information about my case noted even when I corrected him. I gave him court documentation's that was needed for my hearing that he lost. I then needed to go back to the court house file for copies of paperwork and pay a fee to have a copies made and mailed to . He was over an hour late for a hearing. The I ended up having to do the majority of the work on my own. He was suppose to file petitions with the court and every time I would call the court they would tell me nothing was every filed, this went on for over 2 months before I finally went and filed by myself and ended up finding a different attorney to represent me in court. This was 4 years ago and I am still getting bills in the mail for over $1,400 that I refuse to pay because that amount was never agreed upon and he never did the job he was hired to do. He ended up costing me more time, money, and aggravation. My case was ended up dragging out so much longer than it needed to because of him. This was a child custody case were the child was being mentally abused and whos life was being in danger because of the fathers behaviors so this was very upsetting to me that he did not take my childs life serious enough to care. Do not use him if your case is about child custody.
